:'''Disposition''' | Miyu can be considered quite impassive at a cursory glance, perhaps even cold. While it is difficult to glimpse the softer side to this girl, she is much warmer than she appears. Typically through non-invasive, casual conversation, Miyu slowly opens up to reveal a gentler nature hidden beneath her taciturn exterior. However, she can also be quick to withdraw from conversation if more than one person is present, if the topic is one she dislikes. or if she grows disinterested. Miyu also has a very sharp tongue due her observant nature, and will verbally strike hard and true should the occasion call for it.

:'''Intelligence''' | Miyu is keenly intelligent, mostly so in the art of defensive strategies and placement tactics in war. Beyond that, Miyu also has the abilities to speak, read, and write in multiple languages, and is incredibly observant of details, however minute they can be. On the contrary to this, Miyu is not the most gifted in terms of social prowess, and often is at a loss in even casual conversation. The Au Ra girl is also trained in artful pursuits as well such as playing the piano and singing.

: '''Religion''' | Having lived in Ishgard for the majority of her life, Miyu is considered fairly pious. While she does not devote her entire life to Halone, she does not deny the deity having placement in her life as she tries to visit the Orthodox Church at least weekly. She will not ostracize anyone for not wishing to follow her deity, but any form of poor talk toward Halone will immediately result in distaste from Miyu.

Miyu hails from a large Raen civilization in Othard that borders Doma. She was born to a wealthy and powerful family by the name of Tosho, whose history dates back to the breaking away from Xaela civilization. They have since been a major component in Raen tactical and defensive training, and general advisory to the government. Due to this, Miyu was raised strictly, her education cultivated by experienced tutors and her mother and father alike. As a small child, Miyu had an eager mind for learning what her elders had before her, but she displayed a penchant toward more creative pursuits like piano playing. While this was one of her skills to learn, her father started to impress upon more relevancy to learning essential war formations when he noticed those exact things falling to the wayside as she began playing more. Despite that, Miyu never stopped playing truly.

At the age of eight, Miyu's world was completely warped. The Garlean encroach was worse and closer than ever, and even before that, families had been retreating from the once prosperous civilization. At that time, it was called upon the Tosho family to also retreat. Their superiors had claimed that they did want to lose their brilliant minds to Gaius van Baelsar and bid them to depart to Eorzea. With great reluctance, and weeks of arguments, did the family finally board a ship to the foreign continent. After details that escapes Miyu's current older mind, the family's journey ended in Ishgard - the sovereign nation in the north of Eorzea. After many moons and showing letters from their previous nations, proving credentials, and displaying their sheer aptitude did the family manage to secure a comfortable home in the city-state.

Since the time after retreating from Othard, Miyu has since assimilated herself to life in Ishgard, and its more current chilly climate. She is intimately familiar with its streets and people, and is still being educated to become a tactician, just as she had been. At the age of eighteen, her mother introduced a new facet to her education - traveling to become worldly. A tactician was only as good as their knowledge and their experience, per her mother's words, and Miyu was thus sent from home to be introduced to tutors and the like dotting the realm, and undertaking appropriate tasks for a pupil such as herself. Along with this, her mother simply wanted her to see the land and its people, and to know that one day, she would be a component in defending their well-being. In the present day, Miyu is currently stationed in Ul'dah, residing temporarily at an inn called the Sanctum Song. When she is not there or in the city-state, the au ra girl is traveling about Coerthas Central Highlands for additional lessons or at home in Ishgard.
