Basic Info

Xanadu is a traveling thaumaturge with black magic capabilities. A relatively quiet individual, Xanadu tends to keep to herself most of the time (especially with her abilities), maintaining a low profile, though occasionally can be somewhat talkative from time to time and deep down seems to seek companionship. A former Hotgo tribeswoman until she was accused of witchcraft and was sentenced to exiled, just days after its demise by the Dotherl. She currently works in Revenant's Toll of Mor Dhona and pursues the art of fortune telling.

Appearance & Personality

Xanadu stands at a solid 5.0ft with blue skin and dark scales with black hair and red highlights as well as red eyes and black facials. Her personal appearance generally seems technical for her kind. Her alter of choice seems to be either black, red, or purple, primary.

Xanadu is generally serious, blunt and cautious. She tends to keep to herself as stated previously and is often somewhat shy around others, though has enough social skills to engage in conversation and make connections. She seldom smiles and seemingly wears a scowl usually. Occasionally, she can have a dark sense of humor and sarcasm. She is generally a rational person who seeks propose and meaning.

Biography

Growing up in the Hotgo tribe, Xanadu was fairly distant from her tribe-mates, including her parents. She did not make may friends, nor utilizes the traditional face paintings the tribe was knew for. Xanadu mostly kept to herself and her studies, thought in the off-chance she would approach others, they would usually step away or ignore her. Excelling, she was the "black sheep" of the tribe. Xanadu was always interesting in magic, specifically thamuturgy. Her grandfather, one of the few relatives that accepted her, was also a thamuturge, and was also quite strange. He would mentor Xanadu on everything related to thamuturgy, but was also careful on his teachings with the dark arts, but they had faith in each other.

Upon her grandfather's last breath, Xanadu inherited his black soul stone, to insure that her powers are kept in check. Shortly afterwards, the tribe's council members caught wind of Xanadu and her grandfather's teachings of 'dangerous' magicks, and was asked to leave, shortly before its demise. She was unaware of the massacre until she met her cousin, Qara.

Combat

Xanadu is a seasoned 'Black mage,' though tries to use black magic responsibly. She tends to use it only when the situation demands it. Even during Runestone events, Xanadu generally withholds black mage due to it draining the land, and to a lesser extend, even her life span. Xanadu is capable of creativity when it comes to her spells such as creating pillars of fire or turning her staff into an elemental lance to name a few. Otherwises, Xanadu primary relies on traditional thamautary techniques.

For close combat however, Xanadu is also capable of using daggers, but when it comes to raw strength, Xanadu is somewhat limited.
