Character Info

Sighted and seen in many places over the years, Tristram Greythorne might be called nothing more than a drifter, vagrant, or most accurately, refugee. He is a man who's traveled and seen much since the fall of Ala Mihgo, having walked or ridden around the city states of Eorzea. While Tristram is in the employ of the Adventurer's Guild as a hired guide, the man is most often found among the forests and glades with a woodsman's ax gathering timber and other supplies for any who might make the call for it.

History

Born of Ala Mihgo, Tristram spent his early life adrift with many of the other refugees of his homeland after it's occupation by the Garlean Empire. This towering Highlander eventually found himself in the company of adventurers, mercenaries, and explorers, continuing to travel abroad up until the events of the Calamity. The years following have been passed in an apparently quieter existence, whiling his days as a lone woodsman and occasional guide on the borders of the nations of Eorzea.

Rumors

Hearsay that can be found about Tristram Greythorne, freely available to those who may have the cause and reason to inquire of this Highlander ...

"I think I know the man. A highlander, red hair with the white, right? He broke a up brawl between two Roe a time back ... using the barboy's mop like it was a Wailer's spear. Barely a ten count before one was out cold on the floor and the other was scrambling for the door. Never seen the like." ~Yoenne, ale wench

"Greythorne? That bear is still alive?! I thought he died at Cartenau ..." ~Talbot, aged adventurer

"Reliable arm, but gods' luck trying to get him to stay in one place for long. Or finding him ... man knows ways in the Shroud that Highlanders shouldn't." ~Vixander, Twin Adder Lieutenant

"Wasn't he the man who escorted now Lady Patenaude back to the Gates, when she was still a Dragoon? She had gone missing months before chasing the beast Nyuryagg." ~Gilles, Ishgardian Gatekeep
