The Elezenknown as Ruka Buhen is a Magitek engineer by trade, but her skills with both a firearm and Allagan "technomancy", as she calls it, is often in more demand as an adventurer. Spending most of her life with an adopted family in Doma, she has recently returned to Eorzea, partly to know the land she was born in so long ago, and partly to fuel her obsession over the Allagans.

Weight: 190 lbs.
Build: Ruka has a lithe build, and is surprisingly strong despite a lack of bulk in her muscles.

Ruka's looks wouldn't be out of place were she to dress up as an Ishgardian noble or Ul'dahan merchant prince. However, her utterly dismal social graces, both physical clumsiness and tendency to stumble over her words, quickly shatters that illusion.

Ruka outwardly tends to be friendly and eager to meet new people and see new things. She is easily flustered however, and rarely, she seems to possess a white hot temper that even she doesn't really know comes from.

Positive personality traits
Being an Elezen with a Doman name and having traveled all across Othard and some of Eorzea, Ruka tends not to judge books by their covers, metaphorically speaking. She also tries to see the good in everyone she meets.
Negative personality traits
Ruka tends to react poorly to flattery and genuine acts of kindness aimed towards her; personal attention directed onto her is simply not something she's used to. It's not that she's unfamiliar with them, but she has a harder time than most to accept them gracefully.

Ruka also has an almost pathological hatred for Garleans, and this tends to cloud her judgement when dealing with them in any capacity, even Garleans who swear no allegiance to the Empire. She actively works to overcome this prejudice, but given past events in Othard, is very difficult to do.
