Gracie Singer hails from the countryside outside Limsa Lominsa. Having always been a curious but socially disinclined child, she took up writing at an early age to be able to communicate more freely with others. She is extremely passionate, hot-headed yet polite and enjoys making new friends. Gracie can be seen regularly writing in the tavern in Gridania or Limsa Lominsa in the lower dock regions or in the tavern. Though she can be secretive about her past, most of her adventures have been chronicled in her novels with names changed "to protect the guilty." She has been called manipulative and a schemer and while these rumors are not far off, reports of her being 'evil' are greatly exaggerated.

Demeanor: Friendly, but cautious. Gracie is slow to draw the ire of and prefers to talk out problems rather than resort to physical violence. She will, however, jump into a fight if someone she loves or is loyal to is under attack. You can safely approach her and be sure that you will probably leave with a new friend and not an enemy. Gracie's heart is large and she tries to take care of those around her, especially if they are ailing or unable to do so themselves.

Religion: Gracie has a patron deity whom she respects but rarely makes prayers or offerings to. Mostly agnostic.

Common Appearance: The first thing one might notice about Gracie is her radiantly red hair. Because of her occupation and penchant for getting into serious trouble, she travels light. When around friends or feeling safe, she wears her wavy hair loose and down. Her skin is darkly tanned from the sun and her eyes are so dark a color it’s nearly impossible to tell what color they are (but they're totally brown, guys.) When moving about cities, Gracie dresses for comfort. Her favorite outfits are usually tank tops and pants. She favors a green beret and feels naked without it. Sometimes she wears her glasses when reading, as her eyesight is actually fairly poor (but you'll never hear her mention it.) She has no notable scars to speak of, but she does have a few birthmarks: one under her lip. The others are scattered across her body. She enjoys wearing earrings. Gracie is never without her heart pendant necklace that was gifted to her from her brother. She calls it her heart.

Voice: Speaks with a slight Limsan accent especially when riled or excited. The rest of time she speaks as though she's had some formal education.

Clothing: She dresses simply and for comfort. If she can't move in it easily, she won't wear it. She is usually spotted wearing her favorite pair of leather boots and green beret. Sometimes she even wears her glasses when she isn't being too stubborn to wear them.

Strengths

Gracie has speed, flexibility and the ability to calculate quickly and on the fly while in combat making her a foe to be reckoned with. What she lacks in the physical strength department she makes up for with being light on her feet. She also has the mental fortitude to at least try to overcome her opponent regardless of how the fight is going. Gracie is also trained in the art of healing through aether manipulation. She knows how to summon carbuncles.

Position: Thief, con-artist, former colleague; This half-midlander, half-highlander female used to be one of Gracie's mentors. Now she isn't quite so sure what she is to her anymore...

Position: Lucas was killed when he was eighteen years of age. He was Gracie's older brother. They had a very solid and loving relationship, as evidenced by the way Gracie talks about him and how she never takes 'her heart' off her neck if she can help it. Lucas had always dreamed about joining up with the Maelstrom and exploring all of Eorzea.

Soren Iyasu (♥ ) - Husband
Position: Liv's husband and best friend, the only person in the world she would do (almost!) anything for. They were wed on June 22nd after a whirlwind courtship and short engagement. Though initially a rocky relationship, the two quickly fell in love with one another. She is rarely seen without him. Trust that if you see her alone, he's probably not far away.

Hayato Yuzuka (♥ ) - Close friend, colleague
Position: Gracie's original cheerleader and one of her best friends. She trusts Hayato with her life and feels comfortable just being herself around him.

Deimos Mars (● ) - Ex-boyfriend, retainer
Position: Gracie was in love with this gruff warrior for many months until he broke her heart in the form of never returning for her.

Mordagen De'Uden (≈ ) - Co-worker
Position: Gracie does not know much about Mordagen, but what little she does know frightens her. He is rumored to be a dangerous red mage who seeks out targets to end their lives. She has also seen his magic put to use and she knows better than to get on his bad side. It is her hope that the two can be friends.
