Lauren Harris, a Highland Hyur from Ala Mhigo, is a wandering Bard and White Mage. She is best known as one of the few intuitive White Mages that have mastered the craft. As expected of a god having regained certain memories and abilities, she is constantly traversing worlds and living varied lives and experiencing life and the people within.

Although she is no longer a sell sword, Aya's training and experience with the Hungry Wolf remains a crucial aspect of who she is. She was also raised within a warrior family, and steeped in heroic tales of past conflict and heroism. She prefers to avoid conflict, and favors guile over violence, but she remains both mentally and physically better prepared for it than she would ever admit.

Aya's formal training in military skills has been as a Lancer. Accepting early lessons from the Wood Wailers, and later trained by the Hungry Wolf, she is naturally well-suited to the weapon. Physically fit and athletic she is able to utilize the leverage-advantage of the weapon to a great extent, while maintaining distance from her opponent. Although tentative to enter combat, once engaged she fights with a raw tenacity and viciousness that the Hungry Wolf seek to instill in all of their fighters. She would rather avoid danger if at all possible, but if forced she will kill or be killed. Quick and graceful she relies on rapid and precise movements en lieu of brute force, utilizing surprise and distraction to create opportunities to exploit with the goal of inflicting debilitating injuries. To utilize her impressive leg strength she makes frequent use of kicking and jumping attacks, often in conjunction with the lance to create difficult to defend sequences of strikes. Most experienced soldiers would still consider her an amateur, but one still capable of being a sometimes surprising threat in hand-to-hand combat.

She has been trained in standard Hungry Wolf military tactics which included basic forestry, and long-range small-group coordination. Stealth, ambush, and surprise-attack training has formed a major portion of her education in tactics.

• Strengths

• Spearwork Training with the spear came late for her, but she has proven a natural with the weapon that helps leverage her natural talents while mitigating many of her weaknesses
• Single-Mindedness The Hungry Wolf taught that combat was a last resort. It meant death or victory, and all fighters were taught to fight is if were their last. She shows no hesitation to maim or kill, aiming to neutralize each opponent by the most rapid means possible. She fights without rules or second thoughts.
• Speed Trained for running speed and quickness she has not relented and can cover a remarkable amount of ground. This is most especially true in a forest environment.
• Grace Always a danger first she is possessed of balance, grace, and core strength perhaps unusual for a warrior.
• Unpredictable She never studied the finer details of spear technique, and instead drawn upon her talent in dancing and street fighting. Combined with her emphasis on misdirection and her lack of hesitation, this can make her a potentially dangerous foe even those vastly ore capable.
• Unarmed Though no pugilist, she has always been an indefatigable scrapper and has brought some of that talent to her technique. Her use of elbows, knees, and most especially kicks, can provide dangerous and imbalancing to an unwary opponent.
• <Healer> Her mother studied the Ala Mhigan arts of healing before marriage, and passed some of this knowledge onto her daughter. It is a mixture of first aid and basic knowledge in herbalism and the brewing of salves, and infusions. Some of the art may amount to minor conjury.
