Personality

Social: Uther tends to be courteous and honorable, though in recent years his chivalrous nature has become rather lax, and he has grown a dry sense of humor.

Combat: In combat, Uther is a fearsome enemy. He fights the honorable fight more often than not, but he has been known to both trick enemies and fight with simple brute force on occasion.

Religion: Growing up in Ishgard, Uther was taught to worship Halone the Fury. This is a tradition that he continues to this day. It is worth noting, however, that he very much despises the zealous worshiping to his deity that is law in his homeland. His time outside of Ishgard has opened Uther's eyes to other belief systems and he has great respect for all forms of worship and lack-there-of.

Speech: Uther Skystrider is often very polite and cordial, but has recently been seen forgetting his manners in place of deadpan humor and sarcasm.

Appearance

Physical

Uther is a bit short for the average Elezen, and has lean muscle. He is quite strong for his size. His hair is a dull brown, and he usually keeps it in a ponytail or a bun. His eyes are similarly dull brown, and always darting from one detail to another. He has a scar on the left side of his face from an unknown injury, presumably one he suffered during his time as a knight in Ishgard. His complexion is pale, and his face is gaunt.

Clothing and Armor

Uther Skystrider doesn't care about vanity. He will wear simple clothing, and mostly prefers forest greens or the blue of the Ishgardian flag. In battle he prefers chain and leather armor. He most often wears his Drachen armor when battling with a spear. He can be convinced to wear heavy plate armor if the need arises, as well, though he feels restricted in it.

Affiliations

Igraine Durendaire: Uther's first love, and the mother of his child. She was killed in a dragon attack years ago.

Bedivere Windborne: Uther's seven year old son. Uther believes the child to be dead, but he is actually being raised by Halone zealots.

Merlin: Uther's chocobo, and his only remaining friend from Ishgard.

Misericorde: An organization in which Uther was a crew member. They have since dispersed, and Uther has lost contact with each of them. He believes most of them are dead or in prison at this point.

OOC Inspirations

When creating Uther Skystrider, I took a lot of inspiration from various Arthurian legends.
