Appearance & Personality

"Girly" might be the first word to come to mind when looking at this young man. His figure is short and petite with tanned skin, and clad in loose fitting robes. His round face is framed by a dark brownish red hair, reaching down to nape of his neck. A pair of large red eyes look around with indifference, at times with mild annoyance.

Not far from its owner is Otte's Carbuncle, named Neeto. Whether considered a mere familiar or a pet, one cannot tell just by looking. At least publicly Otte doesn't seem to give this creature too much attention.

Behavior

Despite his childish looks, Otte usually acts calm and mature, specially when performing duties for his guild. Outside his duties he seems less professional, acting slightly more playful and even teasing if the person is someone closer to him. During the last year, due to certain events and himself growing out of his old timidness, his personality has taken a more grouchy turn, coming out as grumpy and blunt for most people.

His lack of experience when it comes to life and people in general might give him an image of someone insensitive, as he seems to look at emotions and interaction from the point of view of an aloof researcher, sometimes even lecturing people of 'facts of life', coming out condescending to most.

RELATIONS

● Korin Relanah - A Keeper Otte first "appointed" as his assistant, though the two soon became friends. Now Korin seems to be the first to talk to when Otte is having worries, and usually helps the awkward Seeker to find a solution to his problems.

● Raeth Xura - A tall Xaela of the Xura clan, and someone the Arcanist didn't expect to befriend on such a level. Albeit the two didn't see eye to eye at first, after Otte's attempt at reconciliation (and the offered food), the Au ra was quick to forgive him. Despite the miqo'te's denial, he considers the man someone he can trust.

● Z'shakka Tia - An ex-nunh Otte decided to help after the former moved to Limsa with his children. Unfortunately the older Miqo'te didn't take kindly to Otte's pushy way of giving advice, and so the two aren't on the best of terms.

● Octavel Loreaux - An Elezen that has made Otte to open himself more to people, though at times his way of pushing the truth out of Otte has caused some frustration. Due to certain things Otte has taken some distance from the elezen though, their relationship being a little awkward from the miqo'te's side.

● Mal Sionis - Despite being the person Otte has known for the shortest time, this Miqo'te quickly found his way into the Arcanist's heart by being very open and obvious about his feelings, and so the two started dating. Alas, due to Mal's disappearance and the letter sent after a long time of silence, the two are no longer together.
