Biography

Renne grew up in Gridania and, apart from her service in the Grand Company and short trips, has never left the Shroud. She showed promise as a conjurer at a young age and her parents encouraged her studies. When she became old enough she joined the Twin Adder, steadily rising in the ranks. She served at the Battle of Cartenau, her skills saving many lives on the battlefield, and helped set up a field clinic after the Calamity, treating soldiers and civilians wounded by the catastrophe.

Renne's gentle heart ached for all the lives lost and hurt by the destruction, and after some thought and prayer decided to retire from the Twin Adder. She now lives near Buscarron's tavern in the South Shroud; she runs a small herbalist shop, but for the most part makes her living off a small garden. She offers her conjury and herbal knowledge to those who need it and tends to the land's wounds as best she can.

Appearance & Personality

Renne is of average height for an elezen. Her brown hair is thick and soft; when she's performing surgery or working she ties it up, but otherwise leaves it down. She wears a short dark blue robe, short black skirt, and low-heeled shoes, and carries a naturally-grown staff.

She is friendly, but in a reserved way, reluctant to make bonds with others. Very tenderhearted, she will offer aid to those in need without thought of payment and often refuses to accept payment when offered. She can be a slow study, but once set on learning something she will not give up until she has grasped it.
