| − | Ever since she was a child, her mother Lucinda would take Sunella and her brother Jerod on many adventures in The Black Shroud, searching for new flowers to bring home to the their flower shop. Lucinda was a cheerful woman who was adored by many, but her biggest fan was her daughter. They did absolutely everything together and she was the one who taught Sunella everything about how to take care of flowers and how to plant them. She loved every second of it and decided to become a florist, just like her mother.

| − | Sunella's father was very strict and didn't like his family's hobby, he thought it was stupid and a waste of time. He was a soldier and was rarely home so they didn't see him very often. Because of that Sunella didn't get to know him and many times she forgot he even existed.

| − | When she was 11 years old her father left them because of unknown reasons, a few nights after that her mother got murdered. No one knows who did it and it's still a mystery. Lucinda's children were now alone, left with a broken heart. All they had was each other and a flower shop. After a lot of thinking they decided to keep the shop open as their mother wouldn't like it to be closed, and Sunella and Jerod's love for flowers didn't disappear because of her death. It grew stronger.
