Overview

Batu is a Xaela hailing from the Western Othard Steppes. She was born and raised as a huntress and medicine-woman of the former Qulaan Tribe. She was abandoned at a young age, and adopted by a wolf pack that raised her as their own. A series of unfortunate events left her abandoned again until she found her way to a small offshoot of the Kahkol, whom called themselves the Tenuukols. The death of the tribe had her leaving Othard all together to try her fortune in Eorzea.

Batu stands at 5 fulms tall, which is fairly average for a xaela. Her dark scales take on a blueish cast, and she is a fair bit paler than her Qulaan kin, though not pale enough to draw attention from the xaela in general. Her eyes are blue, her limbal rings a darker blue, and her sclera are tinted black. Dark red hair hangs just past her shoulders, clean but often mused. Her body is as supple and lithe and strong as a wolf's howl, and when she wishes to be she is noiseless. More often than not, she wears little clothing and it is not terribly unusual to see her with none at all. Her fingers are tipped with claws, and years of going barefoot have made her feet tough and calloused.

Scars & Markings: Scars criss-cross her skin and scales, leaving a multitude of discolored tracks and marks ranging from punctures to long gashes. She has long lost any inkling of which scar came from which source. A prominent scar starts at the bottom of her sternum and curls around and over her left breast, leaving half a nipple of twisted scar tissue. A healed burn twists and puckers the skin over her right shoulder blade and travels up her neck into her hairline, creeping to be just visible over her shoulder and upper arm from the front.
