Not excessively morbidly obese, but the man's prodigious size is a haunting combination of an innately athletic build coupled with a sedentary lifestyle that has padded it quite thoroughly with blubber. Everything about him is strange, with sunken and pale eyes coupled with a baby face that is barely kept in check by a tasteful beard. Even more so is how pale he is, not quite to the point of albinism but definitely to a point of disdaining the touch of the Sun.

Stances and postures that are more fitting a shield bearer or vanguard aren't uncommon, as well as the occasional break from a jolly tone of voice that goes far and wide into a more brimstone scented zeal.

| − | Originally from the mountains of Gyr Abania, disdaining other Ala Mhigans for choosing to live in valleys rather than mountaintops and high cliffs as "one should," his life was that of simplicity and dutiful service to Gods and Blood. Specifically, the unending spite for Garlemald and the eternal willingness to refuse them as even being considered as sentient kine, it was no real surprise that he came to fight for the Resistance and proved a full supporter of the Crystal Braves and The Griffon, already holding much of the Eorzean Grand Alliance in disdain that was ultimately surpassed by the similar hatred for his own countrymen.

| − | After this point was knowing service to the Griffon, culminating in the events of Baelsar's Wall of which he witnessed to abject horror and despair before fleeing to Limsa Lominsa and joining his blood relatives who themselves had fled and taken up roles as Armorers and Smiths, befitting pious people of Byregot. From there his sedentary life was used as an apt ruse, degrading a form that would've been a healthy body into that of a blubbering dough boy and ensuring any who might recognize him would be thrown far too off to truly be able to pinpoint him as one of the Griffon's men.

| − | Ultimately, there is little that is genuinely malevolent or ill-intended in Jobst. Only those Ala Mhigans who fled from the Garleans without fighting, and the Garleans themselves, are without any recourse from a surprisingly deep pool of spite and fury from what appears to only ever be an eccentric bookworm with a fondness for militarism and military equipment. His views are equatable with that of always do that which is right, though that which is right is eternally malleable in perspective to others.
