The Miqo'te closed the hardwood door behind himself, looking into his office.  It was neatly kept and furnished with nautical items collected while sailing over the years.  A large table to his right had a map of Eorzea intricately carved and painted right into the wood with heavy figures indicating ports he planned to trade with this season.  The trade routes themselves were locked away someplace safe, only shared with his most trustworthy of captains.

He enjoys fencing as a hobby, as well as hawking, and occasionally gambling. He carries a pistol with him nearly all the time for self defense, as well as a soulstone or two. He was bonded to Lady Dovienya se'Tovya of House Cuenn, and together the two built an empire. Where he has always been adept at deal-making and reading the market, she was skilled with insurance and maintaining their reputation. Together they bonded a quiet, but keen minded Keeper, Ahzra'li Lhomi, and from there they continued to manipulate politic affairs with their underground organization. Much has changed since then, but Marcus' goal remains the same: continue to make enough coin to live his life comfortably. Of all his vices, the worst is probably his reliance on alcohol. Summary

As a pureblooded Garlean, Victor stands tall at 6’6” with a fair complexion, short cropped blonde hair, and light yellow-green eyes. Despite his station as an engineer he still retains something of a military presence to him, always ready for conflict. More often than not, he can be found wearing an insolent grin, as if he’s privy to some information others are not, or as if he’s played some practical joke that no one else is aware of yet. His posture varies dramatically depending on his level of comfort. If he’s allowed any amount of freedom, he will always appear casual and sarcastic. If he’s under a superior’s hard gaze he will stand at attention per his military training, albeit reluctantly.

Scars & Marking

Victor appears to be relatively mark free thanks to Imperial medical technology with the exception of a thin, V-shaped scar that starts near each shoulder to meet at chest. "Some experiences are worth remembering."

A somewhat gritty baritone. His voice carries a venom that is always eager for a target.

Victor wears fitted black and red leathers, finding them easier to keep “presentable” than his uniforms. He keeps a few knifes handy at his belt, along with various small magitek devices that seem to power his tools, one being a thin rod holstered at his left thigh. When he does wear an Imperial uniform, or even casual wear, it is typically wrinkled or messy in some way that makes it just borderline acceptable.

Victor walks the line between respect and insubordination with little grace, sometimes stumbling onto one side or the other. Rigorous military conditioning has taught him when and how to act like a good, obedient soldier boy, but at any given moment—especially if he feels he’s being given any amount of leeway—he will turn around and bite the hand that feeds him with risky ploys or outright disrespect. Priding himself on being a pureblooded Garlean, he feels the need to uphold the strength and tenacity his people are known for. He rarely likes to show fear, and will jump headfirst into reckless situations to prove his worth in the only way a young man without much to his name can. His passions are spent entirely on his personal research and his work in interrogation, both of which go hand in hand. Overall, he is an insolent soldier, a unhinged engineer, and a cruel man.
