Emida Amariyo is one of the privalidged few from her tribe with the gift of litracy. She didn't just embrace the talent of reading, she clung to it as if her life depended on it. Emi's intelligence combined with her aetherical talents made her a shoe in at the Arcanist's guild. Though she had to travel very far from home indeed to begin her training. She kept her nose in the books while the world burned, and has vowed to never let that happen again. What good is being gifted if you can't use it? She now travels in the hopes of finding that which is lost.

Appearance

Emi has snow white hair and larger then average ears for even a keeper. She is of, perhaps, slightly short stature for a Miqo'te of her age with a curvy healthy physique. She inherited the deep orchid eye of her father, and the stormy blue eye of her mother.

Personality

Emida is prone to distraction as she often over-analyzes things. Despite zoning out, she is generally very aware of what is going on around her. Moreso then she will let on. Her keen hearing and astute memory make for excellent information gathering tools, a skill that she is very much aware of the benefits of. Emida could be considered underdeveloped socially and often forgets to filter her thoughts. The product, while honest, often leads to awkward situations much to her chagrin. She has had difficulty making and keeping friends. This has hurt her confidence. Emi is extremely intelligent and curious but is often misunderstood as being conceited and pretentious. Only those who take the time to see past it would know how big her heart is.

Powers and Abilities

• Arcanist: While she always considers herself to be in training, Emida is a highly skilled Arcanist. In conjunction with her knowledge and studies into other disciplines of magic, she makes for a strong ally in combat.

• Thaumaturge: Her secondary skill set. While she is still in training with this form, she is mastering the teachings at an efficient rate.

• Conjurer: A skill she has immense interest in, but is still a novice at in practice. She shows great potential to become proficient with this school of magic.

• Physical Combat: While she understands the theory behind most forms of physical combat, she has little to no skills with it. Her small size, focused concentration, and quick reflexes make her quite agile but that is the extent of it.

• Weapons: She could likely weild a bow or daggers if she tried hard enough. To date this has not been a priority.
