Character
General
Chouwa Morrison is an odd woman. A highlander with a strange name, she claims to be a locksmith, yet her only real skill seems to be picking locks open. When asked what brought her to Limsa Lominsa, "Business." is the only answer.
Appearance
Standing at 5'6", Chouwa is a rather short highlander. With dark freckled skin, short red hair and gold eyes, Chouwa can be likened to a flame. She possesses a lithe build, one that betrays her claimed profession. Chouwa is notably scarless, aside from one running from her cheek to her ear. On her right arm is a tattoo of a black snake with a red head circling it's way up her arm. Chouwa does all she can to hide the tattoo from others.
Personality
Always with a sarcastic remark or two, Chouwa has a smile on her face no matter the situation. Be she picking locks, flirting with women or trying to talk a merchant out of his coin, an effortless smirk resides on her face. If one watched closely enough, they'd see the way her teeth clenches before smiling, the way her grin doesn't quite reach her eyes.
Chouwa isn't as happy as she'd like to have everyone believe she is. The past hurts, the present brings worry, and the future only offers fear. So, the Highlander smiles, she flirts and cracks inappropriate jokes. It isn't like these things aren't a part of her.
Chouwa simply ignores the ache that potions can't soothe.
Combat
General
Chouwa Morrison is more likely to try and talk her way out of a fight, attempting to smooth things over. Despite often carrying an axe, Chouwa has little to no skill with the arm. Instead, she opts for two daggers hidden in the sleeves of her shirt. Chouwa isn't above using dirty tactics to win a fight. The highlander is more than happy to throw dirt in someone's eyes if it means a win.

History/Timeline
Chouwa doesn’t remember having a mother. According to Father, she died bringing Chouwa into the world. Father spoke of her often, how lovely she was, how she enjoyed gardening, and how her home called their warriors shinobi.
Thanks to father’s work as a merchant, the Morrison family lived comfortably in Thanalan’s deserts.
That is until Bahamut escaped his prison. As the world itself seemingly burned around her, Chouwa’s father told her to run as fast as she could. She did so, expecting her father behind her.
It wasn’t until she reached The Gates of the Sultana that Chouwa realized her father was nowhere in sight.
Only seventeen summers old, homeless and grieving, the Highlander wandered the city aimlessly, getting into fistfights to ensure food in her belly and to swallow down her pain.
It was after one of these fights that a strange Sunseeker came to her with a proposition. In exchange for a home and meals, she’d help him with his business. Chouwa accepted.
The Sunseeker - U'wera Tia - dealt in ‘repossession’. Sneak into private property to find goods with outstanding bills on them, and bring them back to U'wera. It was here Chouwa learned her skills with knives, how to pick locks, hide within shadows, and tell the difference between counterfeit finery and the real thing. By her twentieth summer, Chouwa had realized she was a member of a thieving ring.
A week before her twenty-second nameday, U'wera presented Chouwa with a set of plain clothes, an ax and a pass to a ship heading to Limsa Lominsa. “Take the clothes and the ax. Make your way to Vesper Bay and get on the boat for Limsa. If anyone asks, you are an adventurer seeking work.” He told her, before leaving.
Chouwa listened to U'wera’s instructions as she always had. Surely he had something in mind for her. Arriving in Limsa Lominsa, Chouwa's bide her time. Getting connected with the local rogue's guild, claiming to be a locksmith and flirting with local maidens. Despite the silence from Ul'Dah, Chouwa's not worried. "He's just waiting for the right moment to summon me."
