GENERAL INFO

Lukas Madrazo is your typical True-Neutral aligned Treasure Hunter. Leader of Team Red, a group dedicated to treasure hunting and a former thief/bandit. Lukas turned away from the chaotic lifestyle in order to pursue a lifestyle where he doesn't constantly have people after his head. For the most part, that previous lifestyle is behind him, though every now and then debris from his past does appear on the road forward.

Lukas is an easy-going guy, who seems to be the personified adaptation of the word 'chill.' He doesn't often get worked up about much, though there are very few things that trigger him. While his personality helps him think of tactful approaches when things get tough, it can also be a negative quality. There are often things he wont care much about unless there's enough money to gather his interest. Lukas lacks many leadership qualities and often has a soloist attitude. Not that he dislikes working with others, he'd just rather not waste time seeing if anyone can help if he feels confident he can handle a task alone.

He can appear to be full of himself and/or boastful though he makes little effort to back up his claims. They're usually just him trying to squeeze a reaction out of someone, which is a bit of a hobby for Lukas. He's currently a part of the Free Company known as Outriders, a group of adventurers who simply help out wherever they're needed for a small fee. Team Red is a small faction within this company of which Lukas refers to himself as the "Leading Man."

APPEARANCE

Like most people, Lukas carries himself based off of his life experiences. He carries himself with confidence along with a cocky smirk. He stands at about five fulm, eight ilm, which is considerably tall for a Miqo'te male, of course to any other race excluding Lalafell, he isn't considered to be too tall. His body is about 170 ponze of lean athletic muscle due to the typical day to day adventurer lifestyle. He has medium length shaggy black hair and his skin is a dark tan which easily gives away the fact that he is originally from the Thanalan reigon of Eorzea.

Lukas will rarely be seen without his lucky red goggles, which he keeps several pairs of, incase a pair cracks or something of the like. His reasoning for wearing them is simply so that women can't tell for sure if he's looking at their cleavage. Though, when asked he'll say something along the lines of; "It gives me an edge in combat, usually me eyes are what gives it away if I'm losing confidence, with these I can maintain an emotionless face." or "So I can fall asleep when I'm supposed to be listenin' to ya." Those may be true to an extend, though his true intentions are so that he can eye cleavage and that he does consider them lucky.

On his left ear, there's a bomb earring which, coincidentally, is actually a small cherry bomb! It doesn't have much strength behind it, it's more of a sneak attack when the going gets rough. Since we're on the topic of left sides, his cheek also has what he refers to as a "fancy scar" which was given to him by an ex-girlfriend at the age of seventeen. Their relationship was cut short thanks to Lukas having an affair with a Hyur. [sad_horn.wav]

Lukas is usually seen wearing light clothes, nothing too heavy so that he can relax in the clothes he'd wear for combat. He carries a large grey revolver on his back which he hasn't gotten around to naming yet. He probably never will get around to it either.

LIKES ■ Apkallu He has a thing for birds, that much is true. However, above any type of bird, Lukas is a total sucker for Apkallu. "What? They're cute." ■ Airships He's always been fascinated by the idea of flight, the sky just gives a great feeling of freedom. Lukas absolutely loves airships and will likely admire the design of almost any type he finds nice looking enough, even if the ship may belong to an enemy. ■ Explosives Apart from head on combat, Lukas does appreciate a good tactical approach which can prevent the need for combat all together. He's knowledgeable in making bombs and will jump at the opportunity to see his babies put to work ■ Riddles While he may not be an expert at solving riddles, Lukas greatly enjoys a brain exercise and will insist that no one gives him the answer. ■ Limsa Lominsa Lukas wasn't born in Limsa Lomsina, however, it is where he grew up. Lots and lots of fond memories lie in the city for him and he's proud to be from there. ■ Gambling The thrill of gambling truly excites him, despite the odds being against you, the fact that winning is still a possible outcome prevents him from walking away. He might have a problem.

DISLIKES ■ Voidsent Well of course, almost any sane person would dislike Voidsent. This is true, but Lukas has had a few bad encounters with them and they just creep him out. ■ Nobles He finds them irritating, of course there may be some decent nobles out there but he's dealt with too many that just left a bad taste in his mouth. ■ Losing Lukas can lose a friendly fight, smile and say "Good fight," sure. But when he's fighting to prove something or anything that might be more serious to him, he dwells on it. ■ Half-assed Plans Lukas can smell a half-assed plan miles away, and it's a pet peeve to someone who prefers tactical approaches. "Your plans represent you, take pride in 'em!" ■ The Black Shroud Not only does Lukas have a bounty on his head there, but he's also got allergies. He avoids going there as much as he can. ■ Working for Free Often Lukas gets dragged along to do some kind of task that definitely makes you look like a good person for doing it, but nothing kills Lukas' motivation like no pay.

MOTIVATION ■ Money Money makes the world go round, everyone needs it at some point. ■ Adventure Lukas enjoys seeing new places, he'll likely dive at the opportunity to travel somewhere uncharted. ■ Solid Plans If there's a plan that Lukas is acting according to, and that plan is 100% fool-proof, Lukas is so there. Of course, realistically, there aren't many plans that can be 100% fool-proof. ■ Progress Lukas loves being able to look back and see how far he's come, anything that promises progress will likely fuel Lukas' will. ■ Experience Lukas is a very hands-on learner, if there's something he's never done before he'll be anxious to try it out for the first time.

STRENGTHS ■ Level Headed Lukas prides himself on being able to keep a cool head when things get tough. It's something he struggled with in the past. ■ Reading Others Lukas is good at reading body language, or simply finding out something about someone that they aren't directly putting on display. ■ Good Listener Lukas may not advertise this about himself much, but when a friend comes to him with a problem, he's quick to listen and assist in finding a solution to their problem. ■ Memory Lukas has an excellent memory, though it's more of a selective memory kind of thing. He can remember maps, directions and numbers easily. Not so much events like birthdays. ■ Charismatic Lukas can be outgoing and likeable, mainly due to his relaxed persona, making easily approachable. He's also known to be quite the charmer. Sometimes. ■ Confident Confident is a nice way of putting it, cocky fits better though.

WEAKNESSES ■ Gambling As mentioned earlier, despite the success rate being 7%, Lukas will likely take that chance, which obviously has a 93% chance of going bad. ■ Cleavage Lukas will stare, and it can easily screw him over depending on the situation. ■ Nonchalant He often comes off as the type who just doesn't care, despite him actually caring or not. ■ Passive While not overly passive, there are plenty of times where Lukas could have prevented something bad from happening, though he wrote it off as none of his business. ■ Romantic Commitment Lukas is in no way ready to settle down, so to avoid leading someone on, he refuses to get in an exclusive relationship.

BACKSTORY

Lukas was born in Eastern Thanalan under the name of "L'oro" of the Viper tribe. As a child, he was quite adventurous, always anxious to get out and see something new. By the age of eight, a supply carriage was passing through and Lukas managed to slip into the carriage undetected and hid in one of the boxes that only had rice inside of it. Once the carriage began to move, he was excited to see where this would take him. The carriage made its way to Western Thanalan, and the supplies were but on a boat. After a while, the supplies made it to Limsa Lominsa, once Lukas had noticed the movement stop is when he escaped the box he stowed away in.

To his surprise, he was now in Limsa Lominsa which looked and smelled nothing like the desert he was used to. Though he was convinced this would be his biggest adventure yet, surely there was plenty more of the world to see. Unfortunately for him, being in such a new place without knowing anyone, food was quite the challenge. After about three days of wandering around, trying to figure out a way to eat, he knew he had no choice but to take a chance and steal something.

Luckily for Lukas, his first time went well, and it only encouraged him to do it more. Lukas used this as a primary means of survival. Eventually he stumbled across a group of kids his age who were into the same thing, stealing stuff that is. So he joined into this gang, everyone was using a fake name, thus where he came up with the name Lukas Madrazo. It sounded the most common around Limsa Lominsa.

The gang split after the Calamity, Lukas at this point being sixteen, had went on to work solo as a thief for basic living purposes. Around the age of twenty-one he decided to go after bigger and better treasures, though a lot of these so called treasures took a great deal of time and planning to get to. He would soon become a contract treasure hunter, the client tells him what they want, where to get it and Lukas handles the in-between steps.
