Born Ala Mhigan and vigilant of her past, Sarrisa "Delafosse" has been a sore thumb in the Ul'dahn trade involving the increasing refugee problem outside the city gates. Reports of her line up minor criminal charges, considering her most significant offenses involve racketeering general supplies from businesses into the hands of the refugee camps that need it most. Specifically: food surpluses, clothing meant for the storefronts of Ul'dahn businesses, and even general goods such as rope, lumber, hides, and fabrics. Reports of her moving weapons and armor to these refugee camps have been falsified by guardsmen and businesses alike, with no genuine evidence that she ever has.

The disdain of Ala Mhigo in Gridania and across the alliance has made her people terrible recipients of kindness in this time of need. Blamed for crime and economic strain on Thanalan and the commoners of Ul'dah, refugees escaping from Garlean rule has only made things worse. Such is Sarrisa's intent on her flowery handle—a daughter of House Delafosse of Ishgard, supposedly a princess by any other lineage.

Or maybe it's because she thinks of herself as a lavish and royal individual?

The Well Versed "Ala Mhigan Bandit of Thanalan"

Brash, calculating, and well-rounded in education, Sarrisa has excelled as the only child of her family. She prides herself on literature, which has helped compel her desire in the arcanist’s language; the arcanum behind mystical logic. Her interest has been short-lived in her adolescence, however, but she has resurfaced her desires in this aetheric form several years later, and considers herself mostly self-taught. She often appoints herself tutors from Limsa Lominsa and other reliable sources to help improve her capabilities as an arcanist, but she would be too stubborn to admit that she relies on them!

As a result, she often finds herself spending most of the day in her inn room, libraries, or other safe havens that she can peacefully study in. She is still a pupil, by all regards, but she refuses to admit it, nor make light of her interests. "The lack of noise helps me focus; on plans that I may have, or simply because silence is undervalued. Have you been in a refugee camp? There's a lot of groaning."

Focused Ranger: Ballistics Fever

Anyone that knows of Sarrisa would understand how sedentary her life has become, albeit her busy occupation as a smuggler. Writing papers and logs to manage her small racketeering business—that she makes no significant profit from, out of good will for the Ala Mhigan refugees and resistance—has given her little opportunity to develop her strength. Her physical prowess instead lies in her flexibility and swiftness and the grip strength of her bow. She's no stranger to a sword, but she isn't as capable or strong as any true warrior might be.
