[edit] Details Personality Relationships Rumors Gallery OOC Notes GENERAL INFORMATION A refuge of the Calamity a ten year old Ellmida was found days later with severe aether sickness, the ailment had a permanent effect on her memories that blurred them to the point most of her memories prior can only be recalled in generalizations. When no one came forward to claim her an error in paperwork sent her to an orphanage in Ishgard where she spent the next four years in strict religious instruction with a regimented schedule. Her last three years has been a continued wandering search for her family whom she believes is still alive. APPEARANCE A small framed hyur girl with an athletic build and dark red hair, this is normally kept short and away from the face, she stands at approximately five foot and two inches. Her small round face is peppered sparsely with freckles just below her blue eyes, most notable is a horizontal scar crossing the bridge of her nose, a memory of a past injury. PERSONALITY Almost unfailingly positive and outgoing, Ellmida is the type of person who will always try to be upbeat even when things are at their bleakest, she flat out refuses to let hopelessness win and negative people are anathema to her. It’s common for her to smile even when she feels sad about something in hope that she can avoid bringing anyone else down. L I K E S ■ Sweets. This one definately has a sweet tooth, possible it is from having gone without for so long but she will never turn down chocolate or anything sugary. ■ Daylight Ellmida is very much a morning person, she wakes with the sun and just seems more energized when it is shining. H O B B I E S ■ MusicMore recently Ellmida has begun to re-discover a love of music that was first cultivated by her mother and though she has no formal training up until this point she has taken steps to learn the skill even going so far as to make attempts at crafting her own instrument. Normally this would be considered a weakness to some but in Ellmida it is manifest in the way she never gives up, through straight pluck and determination she will push through to succeed on her own. ■ Hope. Artwork Screenshots ಌ OOC NOTES ಌ OOC INFORMATION Player Note I have a rule: RL before RP and if it’s not fun it’s not rp. I suppose that's two rules, byt they are important ones! Personal RP Limits Injuries, connections and previous encounters not done through rp must be discussed before-hand. Absolutely no OOC drama. I accept most rp as long as it makes sense for the character with a few exceptions: ■ I won't playERP, while I respect that ERP may be a preference of others it is something I personally draw the line at for my role play. I usually try to avoid overly sensitive and adult subjects and while I will not overtly shun these concepts it is not something I will consider without a deeply thorough discussion beforehand. ■ I will play Most things within reason, I do not normally get involved in rp relationships. CHARACTER TIDBITS Potential Plot Hooks From age 10 until 14 she lived in an orphanange in Ishgard called the Coerthas Halonic Children’s home, anyone involved with the church or orphans in Ishgard might have run into her. Other possible encounters might have been just after the Calamity where she was brought to one of the emergency triage centers with severe Aether Sickness. When she reached the age of 14 she would have been sent to be apprenticed in a Coerthas textile factory but any time soon after anyone could have run into her travelling from place to place searching for her family. ■ Other possible plot hooks may be someone seeing a glimpse of a a tall red haired man in his late 40’s as she would have made it widely known that she is searching for someone vaguely matching this description. Character Lore Adherence I generally play very close to lore with a few possible discrepancies: Ellmida is originally from Mor Dhona before the cataclysm and through a paperwork error she was sent to live with relatives who did not exist in Ishgard. As for timeline I count the number of years the game has been out and add that to the number of years since the Calamity, making the time frame eight years total at this point
