Known Relatives: None Kerrath is a mercenary and has been his entire life. He never knew his actual birth parents and was raised by mercenaries who roamed around following work where it came, and has fought for a living ever since he was big enough to hold a dagger. He'll do anything so long as it pays well but surprisingly in spite of his profession as a mercenary he prefers to avoid fights. Typically, most of his work operates out of Thanalan, where he can often be found guarding assets of high value on behalf of the Lalafell merchants in that city, and when doing so he can often be found with a book in hand. He isn't tribal and never has been, doesn't know what tribe he would belong to, and has little desire to find out. Appearance & Personality Kerrath has very pale blonde hair that's consistently messy and long and has bright blue eyes. He's tall for a Miqo'te at 5 fulms 10 ilms (70 ilms) and can be consistently seen wearing his armor at almost all times. The only time he might not be wearing his armor is when he's currently engaged in a social setting that might prohibit that. He has a very muscular build from a life of fighting and features several scars of varying levels of severity across his body, from his head to his toes. The armor he wears is practical, but at the same time is definitely very ornate. Almost his entire wardrobe features a heavy emphasis on red. Kerrath is a curious and observational person who has a lot of opinions on just about anything. However, for all of his opinions on everything, he's not actually very judgmental and at times can lean in the direction of general moral ambiguity. He enjoys to straddle the line between provoking someone and appeasing them. There is a part of him that thinks that he lives in an uncaring universe where nothing matters but rather than be brought down by this he is, by contrast, liberated by it. He found her passed out in the streets of Limsa Lominsa in the middle of the day. Since then, his opinion of her plummetted as he discovered her to be an unapologetic hedonist with a predilection for addictive behavior. She's also weaseled her way into being his business partner, somehow--a situation he's dreaded. But in the time since then, Kerrath has acknowledged that his initial first impression wasn't fair, and she deserved a second chance. Now, they're inseparable, and Kerrath isn't entirely sure how that happened. ❥ Rowena Everstone Kerrath and Rowena were pretty solid friends who got along really well. They engaged in a lot of flirting and there was almost a relationship, but it never went anywhere. They're still good friends. ✘ Emrys Bennett This guy was a friend of Rowena's, and Kerrath didn't really have an opinion of him, other than that he knew Rowena was constantly pining over the guy. Some of the mistakes Kerrath made in courting Rowena led to Emrys breaking into Kerrath's place of employment with intent to kill, but Kerrath was quick to prevent any serious damage and talked his way out of a prolonged fight. Kerrath is apprehensive and cautious about Emrys and while he respects the guy, he also sees him as a threat. ❥ Andre This guy was a fellow employee at Kerrath's last place of employment, the Mischief's Coven tavern. Kerrath figured out pretty quick that Andre wasn't his real name and took to calling him Jim, because if he's gonna use a fake name, does it matter which fake name he uses? Anyways, Kerrath is extremely curious about discovering certain truths about Andre like where he comes from and why he hides his identity. ❥ Y'rhenasi Jadel Kerrath has an extremely positive opinion of Rhen. They met at the Mischief's Coven and he definitely overheard her call him 'hawt' once. They get along famously. Rumors This section is meant to be fully In Character (IC). I am still trying to figure out how he keeps stuffing all those books in to his armor like that. I get that he likes to keep his mind busy but it surely can't be comfortable.' ✸ Ephy Rhia - 'Kerrath is stupid and smells bad' ✸ Pyotyr Ilych - 'I don't think the man has ever uttered a serious phrase in his life. Which I'm all for. Eorzea is far too serious sometimes. He does need to be better at accepting medical attention, though.' ✸ Shion Nikki - 'He knows many things! I'm not looking for a real life relationship over Final Fantasy. Also, if you want to fight my character, that's cool and I'll do significant injuries so long as they're not disfiguring or mortal. Also, if you're looking for quick and easy ERP with my cat man, the best I can offer you is a 5-minute sketch of his dingaling in MSPaint and not much more. Romance plots are cool but have to be organic and not forced, and you gotta re-remember what I said earlier that I'm really absolutely not looking for a real life relationship here.
