General ❧

Waifish, thin, hollow, and sullen -- Vilde'sae cultivates a delicate frame. Angular collarbones jut as a border to an aristocratic jawline overlooking full cheeks, and rounded lips. Wide, almond-shaped eyes glow a preternatural, unseelie-red, illuminated by an omnipotent presence of aether that always seems imminent. Heavy brows frame long-lashed eyes, overlooked by a widow's peak that leaves his face decidedly heart shaped.

A keeper-characteristic tattoo makes its home in vibrant black upon the heart of his brow, above but between his eyebrows. It's complimented by a twisting, serpentine tattoo thatched along the slope of his left temple, framing the slitted cusp of his moon-shaped eye. His features - while comely - come crosshatched by scar tissue traced in a trio of garish, diagonal lines. They are scars that look as if they were borne from the claws of a beast, pulled over a heavy brow, over the delicate lids of his eye, and toward his parted lips until they're grizzled, and unsightly.

His fingers are long, bony, scarred, and faded toward an inky black at the tips of his fingers. Curved, wicked black claw tips coil from the beds of his fingernails, withered from a lifetime of careless magic use.

Vilde's tail is thick, fox-like, and impossibly long. Dotted with black ringed spots, and tipped with white, his tail sweeps upwards in a svelte arc, before coiling downward in a smooth sweep toward an upturned tip. Twice as thick as his narrow torso, he sheds fur just as often as he does hair.

Clothing ❧

Favouring darker colours and muted shades, Vilde'sae is often clad in black, or varying shades of forest green. A lifetime in the Shroud in relative isolation means that clothing is still optional for him, and used for propriety, and when needed. Vilde would prefer, above all, to wear nothing at all should he have his way. Black robes wrapped at the waist with pearl-dotted belts and an array of ornate jewelry adorn his frame. heavy rings, thick necklaces, chokers, a heart-shaped amethyst on a thin silver chain, and laden earrings that weigh down his rounded, black-tipped ears. It'd be rare to see Vilde'sae without an added few ponzes of adornments.

Voice ❧

Low, airy, melodic, smooth, Vilde'sae's voice is pleasing, and low in cadence. It's dreamy, airy -- distant. As if he's perpetually only just emerging from a fantastical dream that he cannot hope to properly articulate in words.

Habits ❧

Prone to staring, daydreaming, and toying with idle spellwork. Idle hands lead to a restless Keeper.

Absent-minded, head-in-the-clouds, scatterbrained, but intelligent, Vilde'sae is difficult to nail down in a few choice words. He's reckless, impulsive, thoughtless, brash, at times greedy, indulgent, and restless -- but in others; impossibly generous, curious, kind, caring, and forgiving. Passionate about the woods, the spirits, and flowers - his care extends to every little beetle, and every little critter that calls the Shroud home. His care can come at a detriment to himself, and those around him. His mannerisms are cautious, and careful at best -- he's deeply suspicious of others, but he can also be too trusting.
