  • Galeans by the bushel, especially one officer whose been black mailing Torken to commit treasonous acts.
  • Ul'dah criminal factions he's butted heads with while in Renault's employ and several, if not most, of the law officers of Ul'dah.
  • Roelle Ash is an anomaly. She tried to kill him then saved his life. Torken views her as an enemy while at the same time unnaturally attracted to her. It is she who put the ward over the curse mark on his chest. Something he's been trying to get removed, even dabbling in the black arts from certain unscrupulous Thaumaturgists in the Occulary.

History/Timeline

Entry 1: Ul'dah 23.1UM.1578.7UE

Ul'dah, Central Thanalan - Eozean Continent

Ul'dah. City of riches and hope for many. City of woe and ruin for most. The tempting apple that it presents to the world is in fact riddled with vile worms feasting just under it's skin. But this apple is rotten almost to it's core and to survive here takes guile, cunning and strength of will. I am Torken Queb, a highland refugee, just one of countless others drawn to the hope Ul'dah offers. I've found the adventurer's guild, the Quicksand, is well named. I have been in Ul'dah for several weeks and it looks like I'm stuck here. Although things are looking up. I've managed to get hired by a local business man who appreciates my skills. I need gil, a lot of gil and I need it soon. My next payment's due date is fast approaching and the jackels want their pound of flesh.
