Though she comes from a traditional Keeper family in the Shroud, she is more interested in other people, their cultures and ways of life. She is generally pretty open-minded, and is quick to apologize if she thinks she's offended somebody. The plucky Keeper has always enjoyed studying all sorts of things, having a bit of knowledge and experience with this-and-that—— but her true talent lies with thaumaturgy and enchantments, namely using magic to manipulate small-scale weather phenomena. Aside from her academic interests, Orlala is into many things typical of girls her age; fashion, jewelry, boys, home decor, social events & celebrations, cute pets, etc. Though she has a very warm disposition and can be chatty with anyone she meets, Orlala is a strangely lonesome individual. She has an irrational fear of reaching out to others when the matter is personal. Her merry countenance is so well-practiced that most would be none the wiser if she were stifling a load of stress and panic behind her cordial attitude— and Orlala would rather keep it that way. "We don't need to talk about such unpleasant things! Let's talk about your day instead, okay?" Appearance ● A bit tall for a Miqo'te woman, but not tall in general. (5'6") Soft, curvy pear-shaped build. Ample bust, very broad hips/thighs. Nonathletic. ● Lavender-periwinkle hair, wavy, cut just beneath the chin. Left eye violet, right eye periwinkle. Pale-skinned. Often seen in glasses. ● Always in matching colors, pinks/purples and periwinkle. Has a large wardrobe of stylish, feminine outfits and accessories. Adores flowers, ribbons and ruffles. Relationships ● Gislin Marmotte — Former romantic interest. They had a budding relationship three years ago, but Gislin left on official Maelstrom business. They exchanged letters until Gislin mysteriously stopped replying. ● ✖ ✖ ✖ ● Emith'ir Lhakuna — Twin brother. With Orlala, he is the youngest of the large Lhakuna family. Orlala looks up to M'ietta and takes mental notes of her style and attitude. She hopes to mature into a cool and classy lady like M'ietta someday. ● Gallus Varinius — Boss. Current owner of the Murazou Research Facility. She doesn't know much about the man who hired her, besides that he's got a knack for magitek, and that he's kinda cute. Recently quit living in her parents' home in Gridania. ● Enjoys learning about and trying new things, even if she's lousy at some of them. ● Considers herself a "Weather Mage." Casts magic that affects the immediate area around her with dramatically heightened weather effects. Though this style is her forte, it has its roots in thaumaturgy.
