History

Nylesa is a travelling Monk of Gridania. Before, her home resided in a small village within Ala Mhigo, however her home came to an ending after the Garlean invasion. Each home lead to be smoked out which detached Nylls from her family. After her return to her village, she came to the conclusion that her family was decimated.

She sought revenge on the Empire until meeting her mentor, R'dyen Terusun. Her fighting was amateur and weak however he felt the need to feed the fire burning in her. She trained for many years to fight against the Empire, but the training from her mentor lead her into fighting for the weak and bringing peace to the realm.

Over the years of picking several jobs between refugee camps of Thanalan and Gridania, Nylls came to the decision of giving back to survivors out of anonymity, seeking to rebuild their homes out of sheer hope rather than building a reputation of pride. It became her duty to be known as the caretaker of the children in the eyes of the people.

Her love grew rapidly for the institution of peace, but she never sought audience for her efforts. All tasks and jobs completed have been done faceless as the identity the Caretaker. Any who asks of the Caretaker's history hear nothing more than just the tales of guarding Little Ala Mhigo.

Outside of the concealed identity of the Caretaker, people know her as Nylesa, a recycled caretaker within the Thanalan orphanages. Though, in a time of great desperation to protect her small world, she has reached out to a comrade, Hiro Ayami, to protect Eorzea at a greater lengths.

Hiro Ayami: "Surrender your altruistic attempts to being the Caretaker and protecting your small piece of the world."

Even though they hold their differences, they still have an agreement to goals. These two share a relationship since the beginning of her journey to Ul'dah. They remain business partners and sometimes, if necessary, will share moments of enlightenment.

Rhysati Lhea: "... Did you steal my chocolate again?"

Rhysati is an associate among Enses Azorium, whom also happens to be a good friend of Nylesa. They share an understanding with one another and she knows Nyll's alias. Rhysati is rather overprotective and has cracks upon her walls, but she's strong and strategical.

Sydious Tirandel: "Miss Nylesa... It's a pleasure to seeing you. I have business negotiations to share."

This gentleman is not only wicked for his motives, but he is Nylesa's boss in Enses Azorium. He, too, knows of Nylesa's alias as the Caretaker and has hired her as a mercenary among their ranks. The only time they meet is for business, it's very rare they socialize personally.

Menelwen Veara: "You need to rest, you can't take a beating forever."

Out of all of her friends, Menelwen is the one she's grown fond of the most out of the Piquant Pumpkin Café. They are inseparable once they are together and enjoy going on adventures in the cities. Nylesa remains her companion for the reason of Menelwen feeding her milkshakes on a daily basis.

Dresden Voltaire: "She conquers her enemies like she devours her sandwiches... Quick, fast, and with no mercy."

This fellow has became a compromise to Nylesa's entire focus in her goals. Dresden is yet another companion of hers, yet they share a different relationship she's incapable of understanding. In the beginning it was associates through the Piquant Pumpkin Café, now they as inseparable as Menelwen and Nylesa. She seeks to find the truth from him in order to move forward to her path.

Does not know the Caretaker.

P'etri Ksobwa: "I look forward to locking fists with you, Sister..."

A sparring partner within Astral Aegis, this Ala Mhigan is another person she trusts to be with as both Nylesa and the Caretaker. They found one another through the channel of their chakra. Since then, they have an agreement to feed off each-others chakra in order to build strength.
