Biography

Edelin was born to a scholar and soldier in Ishgard and lived a life much like any other, until her mother's desertion brought shame upon her family. Her father, angry and heartbroken, disavowed any knowledge of his wife and continued raising Edelin alone, determined to impress upon her the importance of loyalty and duty above everything else. Edelin took the lessons to heart, becoming the model citizen. Often she comes under ridicule and suspicion but she doesn't let it deter her, needing to prove that she can and will succeed to herself as much as to others.

Appearance & Personality

Edelin keeps her scale armor in pristine condition and her hair kept back in a tight ponytail; a few locks always manage to escape, much to her annoyance. When she's not training she dresses simply.

She's fairly aggressive and strict with a rather linear mind, sarcasm often escaping her grasp. She has a short temper and will rise to any challenge given to her. Her loyalty to Ishgard and devotion to Halone are the most important things in her life. It's not often she lets herself relax and have fun.

The only thing Edelin kept of her mother's is her name, determined to restore honor to it, and her chocobo Mathias. ♥ Ferrand Ronsard - Edelin's father. A scholar of some renown, he raised her with a firm hand. It is not a warm relationship, but it is a loving one. ♥ Mathias - An old grey chocobo and Edelin's only friend. He was well trained by his previous owner and follows Edelin everywhere when not in his stable. When she's feeling low or overwhelmed she can be found hiding in there with him.
