Character
General
Before Carteneau, House Deathmate owned a small mine that was moderately successful. After the battle and Bahamut's defeat, no one in their family was harmed, however, they were economically crippled. Their once thriving small mining operation was buried under tonnes of rubble and ash. They shifted professions quickly in the aftermath, hoping to get back on their feet before they were completely ruined. They managed to buy a ship, the Pravoka, and open a cruise business, selling tickets for luxury passage between Ul'dah and Limsa Lominsa, as well as a select few other locations. They enjoy nice living conditions, but they aren't as wealthy as most other nobles in Ul'dah.
Family Overview
A Midlander family. They are citizens of Ul'dah and currently reside there.
Patriarch Arkvi (51) is of medium height (Five fulms ten ilms), has short black hair, although it's beginning to go grey, dark blue eyes, a ragged beard, and is tanned by the Ul'dahn sun. He has a scar on his left eye from his military past. Arkvi is not exorbitantly wealthy and thus does not dress like most well off families in Ul'dah.
Matriarch Valerie (49) is five fulms seven ilms, has greying short hair, brown eyes, and isn't nearly as dark skinned as her husband. She prefers to stay indoors or under the deck of the cruise ships.
