Basic Info

A former researcher with a large up and coming medical facility that ended up running out of funds to support her questionable research. Upon being laid off from her position, she has begun to wander, homeless. A life cut off from all sorts of things 'fun' due to being a child prodigy and beginning work at a very young age has made her want to start exploring the world outside of a medical facility. Sometimes she tends to go off the deep end, but she's always looking for new work to try and get back on the saddle, and get back to her research.

Brief Personality Description: Fiona tends to 'keep it real' in conversations, expressing what others try to tip toe around in a very blunt manner. This doubles if she is intoxicated. Most times, when talking to peers in the medical field, she may try to 'one up' them or act like she's better at what she does than them, but if she's genuinely interested in what another can teach her, she is eager to learn from them. When working, she is level headed, motivated and extremely proficient at her job. When not, well. She's a hot mess.

Known Biography

For anyone that would be in the medical profession, it is known that Fiona was a very talented physician from a very early age. She comes from a long line of healers, and like them was magically inclined to be able to help others heal. Though, the obsession of wanting to know what happened inside the body during the healing process took over, and she began to study physiology early on. Eventually, learning so much lead to beginning to practice, and she decided despite having the ability to heal with magic, that she was going to take a traditional approach to medicine and healing.

Fiona is considered to be brilliant, but as quiet nerdy children do, she fell into the shadows and are out of the spotlight. Now that she is on a personal quest to be out of her labs and more in the world (well, forced to be more in the world due to her being laid off at her last position), she is determined to make a name for herself.

Some in Ul'dah may know of Fiona from years prior from assisting with medical procedures and injuries when the refugees started to flood in after Dalamud's Fall.

I enjoy strange RP. I enjoy RP that isn’t always happy. I enjoy getting down and dirty and having unfortunate things happen sometimes. My character Fiona is very difficult and dark, because if we were happy and grand all of the time then RP would get pointless and boring. If you want an easy friend/happygolucky gal- Fiona is not the character for you.

I’m also an ‘anything goes’ sort of player as long as things are RELEVANT to the story. I will also be flexible if I have mature RP partners that would like to plan things.
