Appearance

A small Au ra with a slender figure and no meat to her body. Piercing pink eyes that are complimented by strawberry blonde hair. Kage has no preference to style but she does adore outfits of black, white, and shades of red.

History

Born out in the outskirts of Doma, her family was making a journey to Coerthas but came in-between the Ishgardians and Dragons. The family was wounded and was taken back to the Foundation in Ishgard. Her family was cared for until they ultimately passed away from their injuries. Kage was adopted by the Ishgardian who discovered Kage's family. The family who had taken her in had some nobility within Ishgard and was able to afford to send her away. As she grew older, her family had taken notice to her adept abilities to use magic at a young age. She was taken to Ul'dah to study the black arts. She came back home in a matter of two years of studying. However, once she had returned, her adoptive father was killed in battle. She stayed home to care for her grieving mother. When the funds started to run dry, Kage set out to find work at the age of 19. It was then during her travels that she discovered her love for astronomy. She then came into contact with a teacher to teach her the forbidden art of astronomy healing. She kept her studies hidden from her mother because it was frowned upon by most nobles. However, despite her best attempts her mother found out and forbid her to return home. Kage still continued to send funds to her mother despite their feud, because to Kage she is the only family she has. Near the end of Kage's studies, she heard word of her Mother's death. She was found by her Father's grave after it had snowed heavily for a few days. Kage found herself on her own, but she knew how to get around and make money. Being adept in Black magic and Astronomy, money came naturally to her. She currently resides in Ishgard, taking care of her home she grew up in.

Personality

Cold, and blunt. She is very harsh and verbal. If you aren't doing something properly, she has no problem telling you that "Even an Icetrap in the Sagolii desert could do this better than you can!". Despite her cold demeanor, she has a nice side she shows only to those who have helped and are very close to her. Kage tends to veer away from large social gatherings and prefers to be in solitude with her head buried in a book of any kind.

Weaknesses

• Apathetic: Due to the loss and betrayal she felt from her mother, Kage grew very apathetic to a lot of people and even casting away good friendships.
• Physical Fighting: Kage is not one to take a sword and use it against her foes, physical fighting was something she was never trained for and she refuses to fight physically.
• Water: Kage can't swim.
• Money Management: Even though she can make a hefty coin, Kage has trouble managing her funds and usually ends up spending it all on books and other interesting trinkets she enjoys.

Kage is known to randomly look to the sky mid conversation, almost as if she's seeking answers to a question. She's also known to randomly look at her weapons from time to time, and has a nasty habit of giving random people a glare.
