Appearance

Alderique is on the small side as far as Elezen go. His build is lean, favoring agility and endurance over strength. His skin is dark, and his hair is black and shaggy. His eyes are a dark blue, almost black. He usually wears a pair of black ear clasps. After moving to Ul'dah, he's taken on cooler and more revealing clothing.

History

Born a Gridanian citizen, his mother is a retired wood wailer and his father is a conjurer. Like his father, he studied conjurer but abandoned his training in his late teenage years, seeking independence and new experiences. Influenced by others and by his travels, he developed a hedonistic side and began to appreciate the finer things in life. Over time he became less interested in his humble roots and began to seek wealth and entertainment. He grew fond of challenge and competition, craved growth and power.

Personality

A bit competitive and arrogant, Alderique aims high. He thinks very highly of himself—by no means trying to assert himself over other people, but aiming for the best out of himself and any situation he's in. He enjoys any opportunity to make a good sum of gil or get his hands on valuable treasure. He's also attracted to others with wealth.

While he may be a little on the greedy side, he is not very selfish. He is happy to share with those he likes, and think it's worth giving up some of his coin for good company. Inside of his arrogant exterior, he can be rather gentle and compassionate to those he cares about.
