General Information & Appearance

Name:  Seyonne Martel

Age:  24

Namesday:  11th Sun of the 3rd Astral Moon

Height:  Somewhat shorter than the average Elezen

Body:  Lean and athletic, yet decidedly female

Hair:  Seyonne prefers hair away from her face.  It is often elaborately braided, with small beads, shells and feathers artfully entwined in the strands.  When loose, it tumbles down her back in thick, chestnut waves.

Eyes:  Deep chocolate brown, piercing and alert

Skin:  Lightly tanned

Voice:  Soft-spoken and melodic

Clothing:  Seyonne favors fitted leathers and soft-soled boots for travel. When relaxing privately, she indulges in comfortable robes crafted from the finest fabrics Ul'dah has to offer.

Professions

  • Courier
  • Merchant
  • Herbalist
  • Fortune-teller
  • Occasional minstrel

Personality

Seyonne believes herself to be approachable and friendly, yet she often comes off as secretive and aloof.  She doesn't like to be the center of attention.  She is kind to those who are truly down on their luck, but is highly skeptical of sob stories and drama.  She can also be vain, self-indulgent, reckless and impulsive.

Fighting Style

Seyonne prefers to enter combat only as a last resort.  When left no other option, she will first try to ambush her adversary from a distance using her bow.  If cornered, she will fight dirty, strategically using her knees, elbows and daggers in an attempt to quickly incapacitate her opponent.

Romance

Seyonne avoids long-term relationships, fearing that she might become like her mother: a simpering, spineless breeder.

Common Rumors

  • "She's the best courier this side of Mor Dhona. If you need somethin' delivered, she'll get it there.  But if yer in a hurry, it'll cost ya."
  • "Some say she's a charlatan, but when she read my cards, she told me things that no one else could possibly know."
  • "I've heard she plays the most haunting melodies on that lute of hers.  Pity she doesn't play more."

Moderate Rumors

  • "She's a tall drink of water on a hot afternoon, but you'll find a dagger in your giblets if you put the moves on her."
  • "Nice enough lass, but things tend to turn up missing after she's moved on."
  • "When it comes down to it, the girl just doesn't have the heart for dirty work."

Uncommon Rumors

  • "Her grandmama put a curse on some fancy nobleman in Ul'dah. Folks say they've never seen boils on a man's face like that.  On his arse, too, from what I heard."
  • "I heard she was thrown out by her family.  No idea what for, but she's better off without those good-for-nothings anyway."
  • "The lass sold some poor sod a potion for endurance and fortitude, if ya know what I mean. When he met up with ol' Luvinia at the Mizzenmast, let's just say that he couldn't hoist his main sail.  She's a swindler, that one."
