Brash, calculating, and well-rounded in education, Sarrisa has excelled as the only child of '''House Delafosse'''. She prides herself on literature, which has helped compel her desire in the arcanist’s language; the arcanum behind mystical logic. Her interest has been short-lived in her adolescence, however, but she has resurfaced her desires in this aetheric form several years later, and considers herself mostly self-taught. She often appoints herself tutors from Limsa Lominsa and other reliable sources to help improve her capabilities as an arcanist, but she would be too stubborn to admit that she relies on them!

Born among the highborn of Ishgard, Sarrisa Delafosse has been blessed with a lavish lifestyle that many in Eorzea may never get to see. The Pillars of Ishgard has and always will retain its alienation of outsiders, and Sarrisa herself has not fully experienced any other culture until very recently. With the recent uproar of Dravanian activity, and the corruption building from within the city-state, she has been pushed out by her parents for her own safety.

With her early development and study of arcanist logic and subsequent ballistics with archery, she has proven herself capable of minor adventuring. Bared teeth and scruffing her once unblemished skin has helped her step over that threshold of elegancy into someone more capable of getting her heels dirty, so-to-speak.

Arcanist Knowledge: Bookworm Nerd

Brash, calculating, and well-rounded in education, Sarrisa has excelled as the only child of House Delafosse.

As a result, she often finds herself spending most of the day in her inn room, libraries, or other safe havens that she can peacefully study in. She is still a pupil, by all regards.

Focused Ranger: Ballistics Fever

Anyone that knows of Sarrisa would understand how sedentary her life has become. Between living among nobility and her entrenched studying in arcanist magic, she had never truly bothered to improve her physical prowess.

Her early career as an archer had started in her tweens, and her capability has expanded since. Her mother had forced her to take up archery as a hobby, and the reluctance quickly turned into a new interest of ballistics, and the projection of arrows; the logic was adjacent to her studying as an arcanist.

She started with wooden practice targets before she moved onto boar and small game. She was reluctant to participate in more serious hunts against Dravanian creatures, and had not put her skills to use until much more recently in her life.

The Delafosse Family

House Delafosse is a lesser known, and often unremarkable family compared to the four High Houses of Ishgard; yet they still congregate with the rest of the nobility as a partisan to the city-state. The Delafosses are a small family: one father and one mother, who both fully own the estate, and the servants and guards that work within it. Their only child, a daughter, Sarrisa, seems to be looked on as a prodigal inheritor of the estate. Like any noble house of Ishgard, they're wealthy, and highly regarded. Their summation of existence tends to revolve around the fact that they have been one of the few originating hyur families to found the city-state, and live onward to the present through generations. The Delafosses often aid in a plethora of services across Ishgard, ranging from providing fresh recruits for the Temple Knights, all the way to stabling and raising the chocobos Eorzea is so familiar with. They

It would be difficult to claim any rightful inheritance from the Twelve Knights of legend, but the Delafosses still remain a devout and interested party in The Pillars.
