Basic Info

Like many Miqo'te. Set lacks any real recollection of her parents. Being Thavnarian born, she wasn't clan born nor was she clan raised which often brings conflict when it comes to others of her culture. She doesn't follow the traditional Keeper way of life but that doesn't mean she lacks friends who follow the 'old' ways. Her skill as an astrologian has brought conflict as well. There are many aether-users who consider her abilities to be inferior. With the combined insult to her trade and her heritage. She's been known to be rude and crude.

Appearance & Personality

Her overall appearance gives off a sense of mystery. Her skin is naturally dark, often described as charcoal. She is a rather small Miqo'te although that doesn't mean she lacks a body. Her form is rather toned as she spends time daily making sure to exercise. Her voice is somewhat raspy. Her most notably feature would be her magitech forearm along with the multiple scars across her skin and the tattoo that runs along her spine.

Head-headed, crude and known to be independent. Set is best described as a tomboy although she definately has a feminine side. Due to lacking parents from a young age, Set is known to forget manners and proper etiquette. Since her skill is manipulating aether, Set is somewhat intelligent although she is known to be clumsy and unprofessional. She hates being called a savior and refuses to acknowledge being one even if she is one. Set has been known to be emotional, notably when dealing with others who have gone through the trauma of being a slave or those who are still slaves. Her emotions often turn from sadness to anywhere near livid.

Biography

Childhood

Orphaned a young age, the Thavnairian Miqo'te found herself lost in a city of strangers. The only real parent she really had was a Highlander from a distant land named Frederick von Alfheim of the Alfheim Trading Company. Given her father's work. She was often left alone in the large city.

Overtime the two of them finally were able to develop a father-daughter relationship. It soured quickly when Set herself was forced into the slave trade by her overly jealous 'uncle'. A near copy of her father, it did a large amount of damage to their relationship and trust. It also damaged her ability to make friends. It caused her to act out and effectively turned her into a problem child.

Teens

Her time in captivity only furthered the damage that had been caused by Otto von Alfheim. The only saving grace was her father managing to free the Miqo'te at the cost of her left forearm. Damaged beyond all repair, both mentally and physically, Set found herself bound for Limsa Lomisa to start a new life at the begging of Frederick.

Upon joining the Vylbrand Academy. The Keeper found herself in a place she could call home. As dangerous as the Society is didn't mind being on the side lines as a healer. It bolstered her confidence in herself. It also gave her the skills of a combatant she needed to stop being the scared little girl she once was.

Combat

Set naturally excels at aetherical manipulation although she has a basic understand of most weaponry. When it comes to combat she is much more serious and will quickly attempt to end the conflict. She has been known to attack first given the situation. Very rarely will she aim to kill as her role as a healer is to disable and detain. Overall Set is a respectable combatant. When she is using her melee weaponry, she has a sense of chivalry. Her dreams are to eventually combined her skill of Astromancy with her father's abilities with a sword to become somewhat of a knight.

He was her first real friend at Vylbrand Academy and only recently have they decided to explain their feelings to each other. ● Keero Ash- Her beloved friend and 'mentor'. Not being Clan born, Keero is helping Set understand her role as a female Keeper. Not to mention he holds a very dear place in her heart. ● Crestfallen Knight- Naturally the matron of Vylbrand Academy, Caeritar, is easily Set's mother figure even though the two of them have been at each other's throats before. She cares greatly for the Roe. ● Kyra Tsukino- The Headmistress of Vylbrand Academy, formerly Set's mentor. The two of them have been at odds recently. ● Ianna Burton- The young girl is constantly stirring up drama around Set. The Miqo'te has made it apparent in what the girl has to do to redeem herself although she fails to do just that. Redeem herself.
