| − | Arry grew up an orphan, never knowing who his family is. The sisters who ran the orphanage gave him a ring as soon as he was old enough to go out on his own, informing him that he had the ring with him when he was placed on their doorstep. This ring is the only link he has to his family history, and he is desperate to find out who he is. His only friends are the other members of Driftwood Coast, and it is this adopted family that he fights every day to protect.

The only evidence of the hard life he has lived is a very pronounced scar running down the right side of his face, as cut that barely avoided taking his eye. Arry also never removes his gloves in an attempt to hide the scarring on his left hand, scarring that comes from early miscues as he was learning to tame the fire he now wields.

| − | Arry initially comes across as jovial, boisterous, and care free, however, this is a mask to keep people from learning that he is in quite a bit of pain. The hard life he grew up with has made him wary of strangers, and he eyes everyone not in his company with an air of distrust and suspicion.

Arry does not abide by anyone talking down to those he is protective of, and can not stand for any type of chauvinistic talk.
