A young Scholar hailing from the city-state of Doma, Minatsuki Takami is often underestimated by those who would seek to oppose her. From her average stature, innocent features and somewhat haughty demeanor, it is easily to mistake the Au Ra from a woman who is all bark and no bite. This simply could not be further from the truth as Minatsuki is well versed in a number of combat tactics – including those revolving around magick and hand-to-hand combat.
Born under a full moon, Minatsuki is the fourth daughter to bless the Takami family - under rule of father, Toshinao Takami. As her sisters before her, a life of afford opportunities and pleasantries awaited her, with the promise of being presented to a proper Raen husband. Unfortunately, as with so many others born into Orthard, such promises never bloom. Removed from her homeland all that she has known, Minatsuki (like so many others) has found herself relocated to Eorzea, following the stream of refugees led by Yugiri Mistwalker. But that is where her affiliations with the beacon of Au Ra hope end.
Demeanor: Abrasive, condescending and somehow wickedly charming, Minatsuki has been known to intoxicate and irritate those who find themselves frequently sharing conversation and drinks with the candid Scholar.
Nature: Driven. Virulent. Manipulative. Minatsuki is a very specific breed of woman with a nature that demands recognition and enlightenment. Everything has a purpose to her, even if that purpose is to find Death so that others might progress.
Habits: With such a personality, it is no surprise that Minatsuki possesses several tendencies – most of which will vary from situation to situation however, there are a few staples listed among them. During her first interactions with someone, Minatsuki has been known to play her cards close to her chest, choosing to wear her more caustic mask. She also carries a habit of tracing the rim of her wine glasses, when she drinks.
