Meenya is a half-hyur Miqo'te. Born to a Miqo'te mother, V'mage Byh, and a Hyur father, Thormod Lockheart. Although this is becoming more and more common, being neither Miqo'te nor Hyur leaves Meenya with identity issues and an inferiority complex. Despite what she may tell you herself, Meenya is a skilled warrior and survivalist.
History
- Childhood - Meenya was born and raised in Gridania. Her 4th year of life was a difficult one, unbeknownst to her, having developed the power of the Echo. She was beset by countless nightmares of the deaths of people she had never met, her waking hours tormented by the Red Moon. Meenya's parents sought the conjurer's guild for aid.
