General

This small, shaggy Miqo'te moves lithely and is always ready with an easy, warm smile.

Appearance

Body This Miqo'te male is small by any standard. Barely pushing over five fulms, his build is lean, hard and light. Jack's shaggy hair is always in disarray and hanging into his mismatched eyes. From behind the curtain of hair, it's quite easy to see the gleam of a bright green eye which seems to catch and reflect every stray ray of light. At a closer look, the other eye is a soft, almost washed-out pink.

Complexion It's unclear as to to whether Jack is naturally dark or simply well tanned. One supposes that more intimate places may give an indication. Minute scars cover his body from head to toe in a light scattering. It's clear that, while he wasn't accident prone in the past, his life has hardly been sheltered and his skin is not pampered.

Clothing His clothing is half-hazard at best. Most likely, he will be seen wearing only a pair of well-worn pants and sandals. He seems to disdain jewelry of any kind, except for a pair of fang earrings. A plain, but clearly serviceable bow is always within easy reach, if not slung on his back.

Heritage At first glance, he is easily placed in the Seeker tribe. However, as one looks closer or catches a full smile from him, the picture is a bit less clear. His dark coloration is uncommon for a Seeker, but just as uncommon, though entirely possible, for a Keeper. His eyes are the familiar Seeker slits, but, in low light, they round out as they dilate. Lastly, his canines are more pronounced than Seekers' tend to be. Whether these characteristics make him an abnormal Seeker or an unusual Keeper or a mixed breed is up to the viewer.

Scent Jack nearly always smells of a light perspiration and the forest. It is a very subtle and soft scent, hard to pick up except at close quarters. His breath is usually a strong mint, by far the easier of the two scents to pick up.

Behavior

Jack Swift is typically a calm, happy man. He always has a smile ready for friends or strangers alike. Combined with his extremely laid back, easygoing disposition, Jack's friendliness makes him a rather well-liked guy. Under normal situations, he shows no signs of shyness, especially when meeting new people, and often times exhibits an intense curiosity regarding nearly everyone and everything.

Those who spend a little time with Jack Swift learn that his gentle nature is an intentionally adopted and practiced trait. Just like everyone else, Jack is subject to temper, jealousy and possessiveness. He works hard to fight these negative emotions, however. Often, he can be heard quoting a life lesson espousing moderation, patience and tolerance. Always, he gives credit to his 'Master'.
