GENERAL

Renias Athidrial is a young Hyurian male that was born and raised in Ul'dah. At a young age he started working for his parent's clothing shop. Although his family owned a shop business was always slow so they didn't have much money. When Renias was old enough to start making his own decisions he quit the shop (much to his parents dismay) and started learning the basics of swordplay. Always having a strong sense of justice Renias wanted to protect others, so he took up his sword and shield and became a city guard. Internal issues later caused him to quit and he soon became a bodyguard-for-hire. He would pick his jobs carefully as he did not want to work for thieves or bandits. He quickly became known as a man who could keep his clients safe from raids and monsters on the road. As people sought after him more and more he raised his prices and made a good some of money at a young age. He now takes the odd job here and there but he prefers to travel or just relax in Ul'dah with the money he had saved up.

Fashion: Whenever relaxing in a town Renias will wear common, yet somewhat stylish clothing. He has never been one for standing out too much so you will rarely ever see him in flashy clothes. When travelling he prefers heavy plate armor.

PERSONALITY

Demeanor: Renias is outgoing and friendly. He always wants to protect others from being hurt even if he himself gets hurt in the process. He will never turn down a friend that needs help but will rarely ever ask for help himself. Although he prefers not to fight, if he feels one of his allies is being attacked he is not afraid to step in. He is determined to finish whatever he started and will only give up if there is no other option.

Quirks: Renias is easily lost when travelling. His sense of direction is terrible much to his clients dismay. When he needs to travel he is usually late to his meet-up points.

Intelligence: Working for his parent's shop and attending school growing up, Renias has a slightly above average level of intelligence for a man his age. But while he may be smart with reading, math and writing, he is not very good at navigation. Even though his job took him travelling many times his memory and sense of direction in the wild is lacking.

Style: Renias prefers to be at the very front of any fight holding the enemies attention. That way his allies can stay safe and attack without worry or his clients can hide. But if possible, Renias would prefer to talk out of a fight. In his eyes the less people get hurt, the better.

Specialization: Renias specializes in using a sword and shield. While most only use a shield for blocking Renias also uses it as a second weapon to catch his opponents off guard. His ability to move in his heavy armor is also no laughing matter.

Strengths: Renias is able to take a lot of damage before going down or giving up. While he is physically strong it is nothing compared to the beating he can take. Some even wonder if he even feels pain.

Weaknesses: Seeing as Renias wears Heavy Armor, fighting nimble opponents is difficult for him. While he is well protected, enemies can still get the better of him if they attack from behind.

Armor: As he is usually on the frontline, Renias prefers to wear plate armor. The only thing he doesn't wear is a helmet, he prefers to have more vision than to be protected.
