Appearance & Personality

Standing tall even for his kin, a good few inches more than the average Xaela and with broad shoulders to match, Hamul can seem intimidating at first glance. More often than not he can be found wearing the leathers and skins typical of a traditional tribal Xaela, with either his collection of long knives slung through his belt and occasionally a greataxe hanging from his back. He never wears helmets or hats, preferring to keep his mane of white hair free and loose.

Thanks to his upbringing, born and raised in a tribe that valued it's isolation and even raised its members to actively avoid encountering others in the wilds he has little in the way of social skills, though it comes off as more of an uncertainty on how to behave rather than a dislike for the company of others. Though often stoic, he is far from bereft of emotion and can be made to smile or laugh while in the company of those he trusts not to turn on him, or particularly the few he considers friends.

Having come from deep in the steppes of Othard, he speaks a dialect of Othardic and his grasp of Eorzean is less than stellar, often leading to him preferring to speak as little as he must to avoid embarassing himself.
