History

Cemi was born into the Keepers of the Moon Clan, deep within the Twelveswood. She was found from a very early age to hear and feel the voices and emotions of the elementals and the forest, which often distracted her during training. The sheer amount of life energy within the Twelveswood at the time of her youth, aided to mould her personality into a hyperactive and energetic young Miqo'te. Though failing quite miserably at physical training, she was found to pocess an extraundinary connection to the Twelveswood. Deciding her abilities would be best put elsewhere, she was sent to the Conjurer's Glade in New Gridania to begin her training. While this was more than a joyous occation for the enthusiastic Miqo'te, her mentors would become quite irritated by her low attention span. For a while she struggled to conjure even the most basic of offensive spells, which were only intensified by the emotions of the forest around her. If the area around her became aggrivated, she would feel their emotions flowing through her and react due to it. She was given a specific mentor to help focus her abilities in filtering out the voices of the forest, to listen only when needed. This angered her, and she chose to listen to the voices of nature -all- the time. The years progressed and she eventually grew to become a fully fledged Hearer and was charged with watching over Little Solace with the Sylph's. It is here she spends most of her time when not required to aid her collegues in The Travellers Guild.

Personality

Cemi is somewhat of a nuisance in terms of personality. Her mind is often distracted by the overwhelming feelings and emotions of the elementals and the forest. This can lead her being easily distracted and prone to their emotional influence. Her attention span is rather short and more often than not she is daydreaming about something else. Her balance while aided by her tail, is hindered slightly by her boundless amount of energy. Being so naturally energetic, it can make her quite draining to folk who are not familiar with such traits, often making it difficult for her to keep friends. She pratically has two left feet, always tripping over the slightest things on the ground, much unlike the rest of her kin. Akin to the rest of the Keepers however, she retains a constant aura of playfulness around her, and a friendly relationship with the Sylph race of Little Solace. She is known already as the "Loud Cemi" due to her talkative mentality and love for conversation. Due to this constant flux of energy, she is calmed as quickly as she is angered, often easiest by throwing a ball of cotten yarn at her to play with. Annoyingly, she will speak with a "Mreow" vocalistion when overly excited. Unlike most Hearer's and Conjurer's of the Glade, she does not restrict herself to long robes too much. Believing that her legs have more freedom in trousers and blouse, rather than long dresses you can trip over. Despite these simplistic and slightly confusing personality traits, she makes a devoted friend for those able and willing enough to handle her. She is naturally nocturnal, so you will often find her at her highest during the moonlight hours. In the daylight hours she is often sleeping and if not allowed to, lethargic and tired until the night comes around.
