Dantro Ziman is a midlander hyur hailing from Ishgard who since a few years resides in Ul'dah.

Appearance & Personality

Despite his young age, the hyur's body is covered in almost terrifyingly many scars, three big ones visibly marking his face. With pale skin and blue eyes as a contrast to his raven black hair, Dantro doesn't resemble any of his relatives. He is remarkably short for a midlander and with a surprisingly small build. Despite that he is physically strong and can carry other people or heavy things in general without much trouble.

His right eye is blind after an accident.

Biography

Early life

Born during spring in the nation of Ishgard, Dantro was orphaned instantly after his mother died giving birth to him. His father had passed away before his birth, and so Dantro and his brother were all by themselves. However, they were soon adopted by their mothers' best friend, Docette de Ziman. Docette de Ziman was the youngest daughter of the noble House Ziman and despite being unmarried, she would adopt both of the children and raise them as her own. This was frowned upon by some other noble houses, but she paid them no heed. Dantro and his brother would grow up in a loving environment until Dantro's 15th birthday.

At the age of 15, Dantro moved to Gridania and to his godfather, Amauri Iseterre, in order to study conjury. However, a year later he went missing.

Dantro had been captured and taken to Ul'dah, where he managed to escape his kidnappers. He went into hiding for some time, stealing to survive, before he dared to show himself on the streets once again. He was lost however, and after a while in Ul'dah in order to make himself a living through more earnest means he decided to become a sellsword.

Being a sellsword at the young age of 16 however wasn't easy and it wasn't uncommon that people would take advantage of him. Scar after scar, both mental and physical, was almost unbearable for him and it lasted until right before his 19th nameday. He got recruited into a mercenary group named Fireborn and finally got back on his feet. He reestablished contact with his family, left Fireborn a few months after joining them and then moved into the pirate ran Grimm inn. It was during this time that Dantro finally visited Ishgard and reunited with his family after all those years.

After about a year, Dantro moved out of the Grimm inn and got himself an apartment in the Goblet where he currently resides.

Present

He currently resides in Ul'dah, living life as he see fit as he travels between the city states.
