Youngest son of Kipa Khigo and her mate, Gota'wo Epocan, there are three faces to the Miqo'te called The Keeper. To some, he is a traveling scholar of arcanima, though admittedly an amateurish one at best. To others, he is a master of his craft- bladework, wielding all manner of smaller blades in tandem to overcome large weapons and larger foes. To a very small number, however, he is The Threnody- but that, never for long.
Demeanor: Keeper comes off as aloof, unconcerned, and overly confident. He seems the very picture of carelessness and ease.
Nature: In truth, Kipa is focused, determined, and creative. He cares for his friends and holds his few moral priciples strictly. He is unforgiving to those who violate them.
Beliefs: While Kipa isn't one for contemporary religion, so to speak, he IS a firm believer in what he calls Pillars. There are six, he insists, each tied to one of Hydaelyn's elements, and guarded base and crown by one of the Twelve.
Habits: Drinker, prone to trust his gut over reason.
Common Appearance: The Keeper's hair is long and unkempt, often loose and tangled rather than brushed fine. It's clean, though, which can't be said for his skin- more often than not, it's dusty with sand and grit- unless he's been posing as a scholar recently.
Scars & Markings: Striations mark his face, dark marks on dark skin. His face is lined with age and weather, as well- he looks his age.
Voice: Kipa speaks with a THICK Lominsan accent. He's either very talented, or a long-time native of the coastal city-state.
Clothing: While presenting himself as a scholar, he wears long robes and carries a heavy tome of arcanima. If alone or with trusted companions, he's more apt to wear leathers and worn clothing, the sort that's seen a few things. He always carries knives, but only when he trusts those around him are they easily located.

Strong points
Kipa is very quick. He's older, but in fantastic shape, and he's honed his alertness and perceptive capabilities to as keen as a fellow can. He's also impossibly lucky.
weak points
Kipa has no real magical ability- nothing to speak of, at least. Anything bigger than a dock rat will overwhelm his Carbuncle, and he lacks methods to fend off magical assault as well, aside from the obvious options of "hide" and "dodge." He also isn't the strongest fellow on the docks- most soldiers can out-muscle him by at least a small margin.
combat proficiencies
Kipa is extensively trained in the art of war and, in specific, knifeplay. Used to fighting alone against stronger foes and larger numbers, he uses his speed and talents with his blades to confound his foes and distract them as he whittles their numbers down to more his liking- zero.

Something About Her : O'phefi is a talented veterinarian, and the caretaker of Sika'to, Kipa's chocobo. It'd be an understatement to say he fancies her, but as for whether she returns the affection or not remains to be seen, likely alongside a few more rapped knuckles for presumptuous pats.

Aean Deschain ( ● ) - Knight of Eld

As The Pillars Will : Aean is an acquaintance of late, and one who seems to know what he's about. The proprietor of the House of Eld, and a knight of some repute, he's someone Kipa would like to learn more about- if the man's business hours weren't so damnably odd.
