The Himaa clan holds a myth close, that when the Duskmother and Dawnfather first created the Au Ra that those who would eventually become the Himaa were gifted with powerful souls, ones too grand to be held in one vessel. So it is that many of the Himaa are known to give birth to twins.
If this is true, then it's quite likely that Qurcaqi was given the lion's share of ambition, harshness, and cunning. So much so that at a cursory glance one can be forgiven for thinking that is all there is to her, but deep beneath it is the same soft heart that beats in the chest of her twin, Dayuuqi.
