Yayayup Yayup (pronounced /ˈyəyəyəp yəyəp/) is a Lalafell hailing from the wealthy city state of Ul'dah. After becoming aware of her talent to 'read the stars of others', the young Lalafell began to Divine the future of others in order to make a name for herself, and to accumulate a small amount of wealth to pay for her frivolous expenses. This all went south when her Divination indirectly caused a horrible incident that tarnished her reputation, and humbled her so as to not solely depend on her Divinations without more complete training. She also chose to leave her city state and live a more quaint life as a wandering troupe member. After years of service, the troupe amicably parted ways, and Yaya chose to use her time to go up north to the Dravanian Hinterlands, in hopes of learning more of her ability, and to expand her knowledge.
