RP Info Notes ■ Deryck Farore is loosely based on his creator's physical appearance with a few changes. ■ Farore is a name taken from the Goddess of Courage from the Legend of Zelda series. However it has been omitted as his surname due to obvious reasons. ■ Deryck was originally supposed to be a more awkward and comedic character but the personality didn't fit the backstory which was later written into Sol Agrias. ■ Being from the age of seven and then growing up a warrior he somewhat mirrors Link from the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, who was but a boy put through an extensive journey to save the world. ■ Some of Deryck's powers mirror those of Natsu Dragneel's from Fairy Tail when strongly influenced by Blood of the Dragon and driven by fury. ■ Deryck's self-healing mimics that of Wolverine's from X-Men. However it has since been omitted from his abilities. ■ Deryck's Wind Aether abilities are similar to that of the Wind Primal, Garuda. This, however, became a gimmick to fit the name of Farore so may not be used as often or at all.
