She is slender but somewhat athletically built, denoting her newfound place on the field of battle. Her skin tone is fair, with wine-red eyes, and the signature ivory scales of her people; her hair is black and straight, hanging just below her shoulder blades. Akane's horns are forward-curving and point slightly down. Scars & Markings: Akane's only scars of note are most-often hidden. A large, rather gruesome scar runs along the length of her back; a glancing blow from a greatsword and failed attempt on her life. Her right eye is scarred shut, at the cost of the eye itself, but is hidden by a steel-plated eyepatch; her right horn is missing its tip, capped off by steel as well. On her left forearm she is missing a small patch of scales, where they refuse to regrow over scar tissue; possibly self-inflicted. Voice: - Generally, Akane is soft spoken, though her tone can read as a bit cold or aloof most of the time. She speaks with a slight Doman accent, but is exceptionally fluent in Eorzean/common tongue. Her voice is perhaps somewhat deeper than her appearance might let on. Voice Claim - Bae Doona Clothing: Akane typically dresses in neatly-kept finery, preferring to mix form with function; her clothing allows her the mobility required of someone who may find themselves in a situation that demands attack or escape, while still being presentable, and possibly suggesting to onlookers a position of power, influence or wealth. Most often, her wardrobe is Eorzean-influenced, but she will dress in Far-Eastern fashions when abroad or in private. She is never seen without a pair of bauble horn-ornaments, nor her eyepatch. HistoryHistory It all started when Lukas was about twelve years old. Lukas had been living in an orphanage with several other kids his age, due to the fact that his mother had died years prior and his father had been thrown in jail. The orphanage was on a farm out in Middle La Noscea, most of the other kids seemed content with the lifestyle, though there was a small group of them who had bigger dreams. For the longest, the group simply wished and dreamed of what it would be like to have a life of their own, but didn't act on it, that is until one of the older ones figured it was time to stop letting dreams stay dreams. Lukas admired the conviction the older one had, to be so sure about stepping into the unknown was inspiring to Lukas, so he helped rally up the other kids who were on the fence about the whole thing. One fateful night, this group of about seven boys ran away from the orphanage, taking clothes and food with them as they head to Limsa Lominsa to start living for themselves. The group made their way to Limsa Lominsa and ultimately went their separate ways, the eldest of the group ended up joining the Maelstrom. Lukas was unsure of what to do at this point, he'd been in Limsa for a few days now, homeless and running low on the food he brought. Simply running away from a regular lifestyle to live a regular lifestyle of working seemed kind of pointless to the kid. So, he discovered stealing for himself and decided it was what he was destined to do. He was a small kid and could squeeze into small areas without getting noticed. Lukas would later join a gang of thieves and stick with his newfound brothers and sisters for years until the calamity came. Once the calamity was over, most of Eorzea was in a rebuilding state and thieving became much more popular, competition was rough and plenty of times you'll always run into someone more desperate than yourself. Once Lukas became sixteen, he decided he couldn't just limit himself to Limsa any longer, so he began to travel around Eorzea, thieving where he could. He made plenty of friends and plenty of enemies. He fell in love with the skies upon his first time in an airship and decided his goal would be to own one of his own someday. After some unfortunate luck, Lukas managed to get his hands on an airship. Now, Lukas is twenty-five and a Sky Pirate, though depending who is around him, he may introduce himself as a simple Treasure Hunter or Merchant, sounds more legal that way. Current EventsCurrent Events Upon assisting Rayla with her revenge against the men who killed her husband. The mission itself was a success, the crew with newfound downtime went to take care of personal errands. Lukas was commissioned by a shop owner in Kugane to retrieve a legendary sword that had been sealed away in a cave off in Yanxia. The man was offering Lukas a generous fifty thousand gil. Lukas of course took the case and made the trip, he hauled a small one-seater airship across the seas to Hingashi and made his way to Yanxia. He ventured deep into the cave and found the very sword he was searching for, only to run into a small group of Garlean Soldiers who had come for the very same sword. The soldiers demanded that it was a gift for Zenos, however Lukas wasn't about to just hand it over. Luckily he carried a few smoke grenades on him and managed to escape the Garleans without having to engage in serious combat. Upon returning to Kugane, Lukas met with the shop owner and just as the deal seemed to seal, Lukas decided to see if he could squeeze a little extra money out of the man by mentioning that Garleans wanted to take it and give it to Zenos. Upon hearing the name Zenos, the shop owner quickly backed out of the deal and shooed Lukas out of the shop. So now Lukas is stuck with a "legendary" sword that nobody wants to buy. NPC Cassandra Madrazo (♥ ✖ ) - Mother Lukas's mother died when he was nine years old, she had been ill for some time and there wasn't much that could be done for her, at least not with magicks. One day Lukas came home from doing whatever children do only to find his father being cuffed and escorted away by Maelstrom officers, Lukas recalls seeing blood on his fathers hands and shirt. An officer came up to Lukas to inform him that his mother had passed away. Salvatorre Madrazo (♥ ● ) - Father Lukas doesn't know exactly what to think of his father. Rumor has it that his own father was responsible for his mothers death, though Lukas never got answers and his father didn't exactly seem like the type to murder his own wife. To this day Lukas has no clue what really happened and tries not to think about it. Trish Madrazo (♥) - Cousin Trish is a cousin of Lukas's, their fathers being brothers. Lukas doesn't keep in touch with much of his family, though Trish and him seem to be in good standing. The two didn't meet until a few years ago in Ul'dah, Lukas was busy boasting about the famed Madrazo bloodline, and she happened to stumble upon it, she immediately knew he was family and the two caught up. Trish is a treasure hunter, similar to Lukas's profession, quite the coincidence. However Trish focuses on doing things a bit more legal, though she doesn't seem to judge Lukas's less legal approach to getting treasure. PC Luna Quinn (♥ ) - Personal Cheerleader A quirky Hyuran girl that Lukas met by accidentally hitting her with his chocobo. As of late, Luna has been MIA but Lukas is sure she's spreading the good word about his successes worldwide. Rayla Black (♥ ) - Cleavage Woman While their styles differ greatly, Lukas still holds a great deal of respect for Rayla, even when she has sociopath tendencies. Mandy Arixan (♥ ) - Pseudo Sister Lukas met Mandy in Pearl Lane, he helped her out when she was homeless and they've been cool ever since. Now whenever the two are around each other there's usually a few immature pranks that go around. N'aomi Kett (♥ ) - Terrible Puns Lukas and N'aomi go way back, they both grew up in Limsa but were far from friends when they were younger. Now the two live their lives and keep in contact every now and then. Dex Cogstride (♥ ♥ ) - Hot Head Lukas and Dex became acquainted fairly quick, the two butt heads a lot but that's just their thing. Lukas will always have a soft spot for Dex despite how many fights they get in. Kri'sie Crimson'lion (♥ ) - Kri'stupid Long time frienemy. They regularly get high together. Suuka Haishin (♥ ) - Thumb-Tack A shrimpy Raen boy-child. He's the little brother Lukas never had. Selan Tzintch (? ) - Stupid Idiot Selan is a strange girl that Lukas isn't completely sure if she wants to kill him or be pals with him. She recently learned where he lives and it makes him a little uncomfortable. Pahja Jomalah (♥ ♥) - Dollface Pahja and Lukas met in Pearl Lane and hit it off pretty quick, he tends to spoil her and blindly agree to every claim she makes, despite how ridiculous it is. Seye Qhesu (♥ ) - Doesn't seye much Seye and Lukas met at an event held in Ul'dah, and with Seye being a mute, Lukas spent an awful lot of time misunderstanding her. He thinks she's cute, but has no idea if the feelings are mutual. Io Saar (♥ ) - She who roars Io is a strange girl. She seems to communicate with various growls and mean looks. But she doesn't seem to be a mute, just limited with communication. Lukas keeps a mental note to not let her touch his goggles.
