He was sent to the Clan military, where he quickly rose through the ranks as his skill for war and bloodshed became obvious. However, with every new battle, a love of War grew in him and he soon found himself enjoying the thrill of battle more than his peers ever did. It was this love and skill for combat that earned him the name "Lighting Slayer", a title that was held once by the most powerful swordsman of the clan Odata Otaroi.

While Yashi does follow a Code, sometimes he lets tradition contradict his own philosophy. Such as executing his enemies as opposed to showing mercy. He's also a braggart about his sword skills, though suffers greatly psychologically for his time as an Alliance Assassin.

Biography

YASHI ORATOI


Yashi Otaroi was born twenty-seven years ago, to the Oratori clan to the far east. He was the to the first son of the Clan leader and local Bugyo, Yarashi Otaroi.

The Otaroi are a clan of rich swordsman, with a density dating back to the first astral era. The clan has mostly been one of several warring eastern states, competing with its neighbor for land and resources in a constant state of turmoil. The Otaroi, although legendary swordsman by their own merit, had many rivals during the Age of Blood and did not become peacefully govern until the unification of the lands by the Bakufu government. Now, primarily a business Clan. Their main form of revenue lies in their western trade and gold mining in the Marashi Hills that are in the heart of their land.
