This family was abhored by the rest of the community for the fact that Damieus' parents, Khlovan and Luna, thought of war as a necessary component to well-being. As Damieus went to school he was consistently discriminated against, and as he got older it also started to affect his reputation altogether. Wherein, the Sharlayan scholars would refuse to reveal some of the wisdom that they keep reserved for their citizens only, in short he was treated as an outsider. A backlash occurred between the parents and the Forum which resulted on the entire family being banished from the archipelago where they resided. | ||

He managed to fend some of them off, until the last duel between Damieus and the group's leader. The leader was a fierce-some foe, and highly skilled in the ways of the sword. A long battle ensued, with Asterica staying behind Damieus, as he was protecting her. The sword of the leader slid past damieus' jawline, leaving a deep cut, but also directly into Asterica's forehead. In a fit of rage Damieus took the sword of the leader, holding it steadfast as he pierced the leader's heart with his blade, killing him. To this day, his scar remains as a painful reminder, and Damieus has grown very reserved.</div></div> | ||

Damieus was born into a very small and faithful Sharlayan family. This family was abhored by the rest of the community for the fact that Damieus' parents, Khlovan and Luna, thought of war as a necessary component to well-being. As Damieus went to school he was consistently discriminated against, and as he got older it also started to affect his reputation altogether. Wherein, the Sharlayan scholars would refuse to reveal some of the wisdom that they keep reserved for their citizens only, in short he was treated as an outsider. A backlash occurred between the parents and the Forum which resulted on the entire family being banished from the archipelago where they resided.
Through time, Damieus was taught to be a warrior, he was trained in the ways of swordsmanship and defense. As he got older, he began to learn more about the family past. After which, he began to question some of his father's motives. In time, Khlovan was driven insane by the idea of experimentation. He wanted to study the lifestream, and he couldn't before because of the strict laws the Sharlayan Forum had placed previously. To this end, Khlovan under the cover of night, took Luna to an underground lab where he killed her and began to experiment on the remains. A year past before Damieus started to see the clues about his mother's disappearance. He would grill his father with questions about it, and the father would make many excuses to avoid the question. One night, Damieus was up because he wanted to get some food, he got leftovers from the night before. He took a look outside the window and saw his father going between the trees next to their home, and out of curiosity he followed. At that point, Damieus found the underground lab and saw the remains of his mother lying on the table, blood strewn about everywhere. Damieus grew furious and a battle ensued with his father, and after the battle Damieus killed his father, with his last words being, "I am so sorry." Damieus, now on his own, turned to the Immortal Flames because of a flyer he saw several moons ago. He joined the Immortal Flames and climbed through the ranks from his martial prowess. During the time Damieus was in the Grand Company, he met a beautiful female hyur by the name of Asterica. Over time, he fell in love with her as they continued to bond and deepen their relationship. For several moons, everything went well. He loved the way she looked, from the ocean blue hair to blue eyes, the way she would speak and laugh, and how she would make him happy at a moments notice. It was a truly wholesome and memorable relationship. On a date they had some time ago, Damieus was being targeted by a bandit group because he killed many of their members on the missions he did for the Flames. He managed to fend some of them off, until the last duel between Damieus and the group's leader. The leader was a fierce-some foe, and highly skilled in the ways of the sword. A long battle ensued, with Asterica staying behind Damieus, as he was protecting her. The sword of the leader slid past damieus' jawline, leaving a deep cut, but also directly into Asterica's forehead. In a fit of rage Damieus took the sword of the leader, holding it steadfast as he pierced the leader's heart with his blade, killing him. To this day, his scar remains as a painful reminder, and Damieus has grown very reserved.
