Born and raised in Limsa Lominsa, Kieran takes the notion of freedom, and a free spirit seriously, quite young he saw no fighting leading up the the Calamity as he was considered youth, and too young to fight. At a young age he showed great talent within archery, having a natural sense of distance, balistics and a keen sense of his surroundigns. Though following in his idea of a free spirit, he followed down the path of a bard, lending his great sense of control to the playing of instruments, and his voice to that of song, poetry and ballads. While young, he is ambitious, understanding and empathatic, following the Calamity, he'd often be found singing to those who suffered, doing his best to calm their minds, as he was unable to calm their bodies. These days he travels, while Limsa Lominsa will always be his home, he carries the festive and free spirit of the pirate and naval people forwards to other corners of the land, and to whoever will listen to his music.
The first thing one will see when glancing as Kieran is a very feminine look, whether purposefully or accidental, he has a very effeminate look to himself, soft face, large eyes and a slim body makes a second glance needed to confirm he is simply not a flat-chested woman, as his voice is so soft and gender neutral, it could be both a young boys, or a womans. He himself does not mind this unorthodox look he has, infact he does not fear to behave, or even dress as a woman, for to him it could enchance the performance, or enjoyment of his music. Normally he will be seen in leather armour that hides his body, a bow and a quiver on his back, and always with him are his prized instruments, a harp and a flute.
Aspects That Stand Out:
Kieran is open minded, friendly, empathatic and most of all, a dude. While he will shamelessly act, and dress as the opposite gender for performance sake, granting him the nickname "Keira" as a female counterpart to his own name when asked for his gender he will only tell the truth. Born and raised among pirates and sailors, who all has a sense of freedom of spirit and body, Kieran expresses this freedom through his music and song, more than often he will be found singing sarcastic or comedic stories, even on sensitive subjects such as the Calamity, as he believes laughter is the greatest remedy. Though his outwards and open personality is little more than a mask, anyone who get to know him better will swiftly learn that he is quite shy and reserved, while taking pride in himself, and his craft, he more than often fears that he simply isn't good enough, leaving him with a constant need for validation.
