Neutral-Good AppearancePersonalityRumorsRP Hooks/InfoGallery A young Miqo'te woman of average racial height and appearance, X'kholi would otherwise blend in unnoticed with her kin if it weren't for her quite urbanized demeanor, clothing, and lack of toned physique, scars, or tan. Her slitted eyes are mismatching shades of light lime and indigo, her pastel orange-blonde hair is cut short and choppy, and her long lion-like tail ends in a dark gold. Sweet floral and fruity fragrances waft from her, showcasing a hand-made tonic. Voice: Soft, mid-ranged, and over-all sweet. Her voice isn't built well for projecting, and as such is fairly easy to drown out if she doesn't put in the extra effort to be heard. Once she's fully comfortable, however, her tone is expressive, bubbly, and energetic. Clothing: Asides from having her signature pair of spectacles, her typical style is urbanized; ranging from sweaters, short-sleeved tops, and flowy scarves and sashes, to always modest skirts, shorts, and thigh-high socks. Assuming she's not donning her Alchemists' Guild labcoat! If you're in need of any manner of alchemical mix, Kholi is your girl! She can craft a quite wide variety, varying from medicinal mixtures to fortifying potions to other miscellany. Alchemists' Guild Employee: Her status at the Alchemists Guild can sometimes include teaching the guild's students as well as providing tours for those interested in doing so. If you're seeking to study there, you may have been told to see her! In Search of Herbs: She's always looking for people who can supply her with rare herbs and reagents from around Hydaelyn. If you visit Ul'dah or Gridania, you may have heard tales about an alchemist who's willing to pay a hefty coin for those odd ingredients you've collected during your travels! Book Collector: You may have heard tales of a certain Miqo'te who has a heavy affinity for reading and tome collecting! If you've been searching for a certain book (rare or not) or perhaps looking for unusual information that may have been contained within one, then it'd be worth visiting her. Goblet Neighbour: She lives in the apartment building within The Goblet. If you're nearby, you may have caught her with armfuls of books, strange ingredients, or stacks of paper. Sometimes, even, you may have heard a noisy chemical reaction from within her apartment, followed by some smoke draining out her window! Coliseum Attendee: She loves to visit the Coliseum in Ul'dah when tournaments take place. She's not a fighter at all, but does take joy in watching such strong men and women participate in combat with one another. If you've fought in the Coliseum before, there's a chance she may be a fan of yours! It's also possible that you remember her face from within the audience. Gridanian Tourist: She makes trips to Gridania for at least several days each moon, and her activities there vary; from work-related to simply relaxing at The Roost. If you aren't someone who lives in or visits Thanalan, then overhearing gossip about her from residents within Gridania is good reason why you may be privy to the rest of the hooks on this page! Botany Interest: She visits the Botanists Guild to learn more about flora. If you're someone who's familiar with the land, you may have heard of a curious Miqo'te woman looking for someone to teach her a thing or two, or to show her around The Shroud. Ishgardian Trading Attempts: She's been recently trying - and failing - to strike up trade deals in Ishgard. With how her attempts usually go, you're fairly likely to find her sulking at The Forgotten Knight over a drink during her stays in the city. Perhaps you've seen her and wondered why she looks so down! Historian: Versed thoroughly in the history of various cultures, Kholi could talk your ear off about anything from Ancient Allag, to the War of the Magi, to simpler topics such as the founding of Ul'dah and Sil'dih. If you're curious about the history of the realm, you may have been pointed in the direction of a certain Miqo'te historian. Aetherologist: Kholi is fascinated with the study of the aetherial plane, Hydaelyn, and the possible realms beyond. She has a solid grasp on the basics of aetherology; such as the concepts of summoning, the lifestream, and how aether itself functions. If you've ever been curious about the finer workings of our world, you may have been told to see her! Affiliations Alchemists' Guild: Kholi is a full-time employee there of above-average position. Arcanists' Guild: She studied for a little over a summer to learn literacy, and maintains good connections despite her lack of desire to return there. Ul'dah: The city in which she works, and otherwise spends the vast majority of her time in. Goldsmiths' Guild: Often employs their members' skill when it comes to sending them blueprints for work-related contraptions. OOC I will do: Anything that isn't on the lists below; seriously, just ask if you're curious! Inclues; both long and short term plots, plot planning, mature themes, and combat (freeform lean, but dice is fine too).
