ROLEPLAY INFO ◇ HOOKS You can shoot me a /tell to establish some basic groundwork before we roleplay, but Halwin is always open to walk-ups! ⚖️ Having grown up on the sun-warmed stone streets of Ul'dah, Halwin could be a familiar face to fellow residents. If they're savvy enough, they may have even heard dark whispers of gossip curling around open ears regarding Halwin's steadily-growing reputation. ⚖️ Alchemists with less than savory backgrounds who don't mind dirtying their hands a bit have likely heard that Halwin has a lucrative opportunity available for them. Just don't ask too many questions... ⚖️ Is that a streak of gold cutting through the dark hollow of the young man's sternum? What could such an unique choice of makeup mean? It is striking against his rich skin, impossible to miss. The wealthy elite and high life socialites may even already be in the know about the meaning behind Halwin's callsign. (In-game, this callsign is represented by the 'Looking to Meld Materia' status.) ◇ LIMITS All RP is acceptable. ⚖️S harp teeth gleam in a perpetually-amused smirk, giving every expression Halwin makes a sinister air. This is made all the worse by his inherently predatory nature. He does little to hide it, luring all who come close farther in with honeyed words and depraved promises. His fathomless eyes, darker than a moonless night, scrutinize his surroundings shamelessly, relentlessly. Every movement, every word, every action speaks of a deep, insatiable hunger. Halwin, altogether, is a dangerous, but intriguing man.

Halwin's dark skin is dappled with numerous pale tattoos. They all have some deep, esoteric meaning, but he's not likely to tell you what that might be. He wanders the streets of Ul'dah telling 'fortunes', delighting in the appalled looks his bleak readings bring. Tucked in between his tarot deck's gilt-edged cards are inconspicuous squares of black. If he presses one of these to your palm, you will look down to see an Evil Eye glaring back up at you. Despite it being a well-known curse, there are some folk in the city that would consider this rendition of the eye, in particular, to be a blessing... of a sort.

⛧ Halwin runs a secretive hidden Speakeasy off of Pearl Lane. To find it, you must seek out the gaze of the Gilded Evil Eye. Even then, you will need a code to garner entry... and good luck guessing, as it changes on a regular basis. ⛧ Halwin operates an underground drug ring, having designed a potent, slightly less lethal version of 'Dream Ink'. The gleaming powder can be inhaled dry, or burned akin to incense. A stimulant and hallucinogenic rolled into one maddening yet addictive experience, it is becoming quite a common sight to see the tell-tale limning of silver dust on fingertips that speak of Desert Dust abuse. ⛧ Halwin is the ringleader of a nihilist gang/cult that idolizes Xande and his abject worldviews. They seek to bring about the downfall of structured society, and possibly even to usher in another calamity. ⛧In his 'personal time', Halwin moonlights as not just a drug dealer, but as a prostitute as well. If there's gold dust dabbed at the base of his throat, his body is on offer for gil. This 'call sign' gives him some control over who can buy his time, and when.
