[edit] Details Personality Relationships Gallery OOC Notes GENERAL INFORMATION >>Coming Soon!<< APPEARANCE Labeled "diminutive" and "slight" by strangers, in truth she is underfed, scrawny and physically weak. Malnutrition in her younger years left her a head shorter and more fragile than many other Miqo'te. Oft confused for a Seeker of the Sun at a distance due to her fair complexion and light-toned hair, it is only upon closer inspection can one see her deep teal irises and round pupils, if they can overlook the dirt and grime layered upon her skin. Like many Miqo'te, it is enigma as to which breed she hails from, except to the trained eye that may recognize her mixed heritage. Her clothes are tattered, old and patched, marking her as being firmly in the claws of deep poverty. Aspects That Stand Out: ■ Wears absolute garbage clothing for the time being. Loves deep red clothing when she can get it. ■ Her hair gravitates towards wild and curly unless managed. ■ Physically fragile and scrawny PERSONALITY Shaped by stories of eld, of legends and departed heroes in a bygone world and creatures fantastic, Teora dreamt of following the footsteps of an adventurer and creating her own tale. Yet, tales of the wondrous and the intriguing are not granted to all to who ask, no matter the desire. Ever slighted by the lack of her physical mastery and scarcity of focus, Teora bears the burden of her perceived failures; and though others would label her an accomplished healer, she has mind to disagree and mention, instead, that she is an "excellent crafter" and "inventor". Over time, she has become wont to fall into the depths of her machinations, and new acquaintances oft remark on her proclivity to gravitate towards the technical in conversation. Once, she harbored ambition to supply the adventurers and heroes of Eorzea with superior weapons and goods to compensate for her weakness, yet the fangs of poverty have captured her. Teora's time is now oft spent crafting illicit goods for Ul'dah's dark underbelly, causing her no small amount of resentment and self-loathing. Engaged regularly with her own thoughts and oblivious to the outside world, loud noises easily startle her and lead to swift frustration. Described at times as 'rude' and 'unthoughtful' by outsiders, she can, at times, be an acquired taste -- though allies may find her worth the trouble. Not always apparent, she is abhorrent of being lonesome, yet she can frequently be found only in her own company. In a twist of fate, she yearns to have recognition yet despises being the center of attention. Above all things, Teora values freedom, independence and interchange of free thought. Artwork Screenshots ಌ OOC NOTES ಌ OOC INFORMATION Player Note Hello! I am a fairly experienced roleplayer and I'm able to adapt to any type of situation. I consider myself a "mirror" roleplayer; that is, I copy the style of person I'm playing with. Therefore, I'm very flexible in resolutions, length of posts and types of roleplay. However, I am sometimes shy and I am often slow in responses so please be patient. This is my first character in FFXIV so I'm not certain of the lore, but I do learn quickly! Personal RP Limits This section is where I tell you what I will and will not do! Keep in mind though, because I am flexible these are more guidelines than actual rules. I tend to follow the RP where it goes. If it's death or injury or whatever, then that's where it'll head for me! ■ I will play basically anything. It has to make sense though! I roll with the punches and will do a lot of off-the-wall things at random if that's what we're all doing, but it has to be within the narrative. If someone randomly comes up and stabs my character without warning, I'll go along with it gladly; but if said person is doing it without being serious or having intent to follow through on RP, I may choose to ignore it depending on the circumstances, though I hate doing that! I absolutely love spontaneity! ■ I won't play very little. I'll let people know if it's too far for me. Usually, I draw the line at permanent maiming and mutilation unless it's pre-discussed. In fact, character death and permanent maiming/scarring are the only things I would like discussed beforehand! Everything else is fine with me. My stance on ERP is 'not frivolously' and only within a narrative; even then I rarely participate, but again, everything depends on the story. Disclaimer Little Tidbits. ■ I am new to FFXIV but not to roleplay! Please be patient with me. I can be shy, and, again, may take a while to respond to posts. CHARACTER TIDBITS Potential Plot Hooks Your character may know (or know of) Teo if: ■ They spend copious amounts of time in Ul'dah or Limsa Lominsa. If Ul'dah, she lives on the streets in the alley of Pearl Lane. If Limsa Lominsa, she spent a year on the streets there near the Fisher's wharf. ■ If you frequent the underground markets, you may have run into some of her creations. She peddles black-market aether crystals, imbued weapons, explosives, etc. which carry a label of T.O. She has gained slight notoriety (albeit begrudgingly) for her illegal wares. ■ If you are a black-market or grey-market seller, vendor, or broker in Ul'dah, you've probably had dealings with her if you deal with the street-level. It's likely she may owe you a lot of money, or has sold you products. ■ If you are an investigator, law-bringer or other, you may know Teo and her illicit affairs. Character Lore Adherence I adhere pretty strictly to the lore of FFXIV. I don't know it all that well, but I'll rarely break the lore without a reason intentionally. This just means I won't do things like jedi stuff or something unless it has roots in lore. ■ No changes required.
